Research On Group Work Intervention In Network Security Education Of Rural Children

In recent years,the Internet has become more and more popular among children.Due to the popularity of mobile phones,tablet computers and other electronic products,and the "popularity" of online classes in the context of the epidemic,a considerable number of rural children have begun to use smart phones and other electronic devices to learn courses,and use mobile phones as toys in their daily lives.However,due to the lack of network information,rural children’s individual,family and school have insufficient measures to prevent and respond to network risks.Rural children may face various risks in the process of online fraud,online pornographic information,online dating traps and so on,causing great damage to children’s physical and mental health.How to improve rural children’s awareness of network security and help rural children avoid network risks,It is a practical problem before us.Based on the existing research on network security education,the author takes 12 rural children aged 10-14 in X Village,Qichun County,Hubei Province as the research object.Through analysis and needs assessment,it is found that children in X village mainly need to improve their safety awareness in three aspects: network socialization,network information identification,and network fraud prevention.Using scenario simulation,group games and other methods,8 group activities were carried out to help group members who are vulnerable to network security risks to be cautious in online social networking,correctly identify bad information on the Internet,prevent online fraud,make reasonable use of network resources,and avoid cyber risk.By summarizing and reflecting on this research,the author suggests that social work intervention in rural children’s online safety education should start from paying attention to the needs of rural children,adopt educational methods that are appropriate to children’s characteristics,carry out activities under the guidance of professional theories,and stabilize children’s social support network At the same time,schools,families,rural communities,relevant government departments and even the whole society should pay more attention to rural children’s online safety education,so as to create a good social atmosphere for children to surf the Internet safely.
