Research On Centralized And Unified Data Management Of S University

S University has four campuses,more than 30 secondary colleges and nearly 50000 teachers and students.In the process of information construction,more than 40 business systems have been built and a large amount of data has been generated.With the popularization of intelligent terminals,sensors and measuring instruments,the data is growing rapidly,and the data formats are rich and diverse.With the development of business,new business scenarios that need to integrate the data of multiple business systems are gradually increasing.Problems such as inconsistent data standards of various business systems,poor data quality,data fortress and long implementation cycle of data requirements have caused great resistance to management decision-making and department business promotion.This paper takes the data management of S University as the research object,takes the current data sharing platform as an example,and constructs the centralized and unified data management system of S University by collecting and analyzing data management problems.The data management work of S University lacks the mutual coordination and cooperation between business departments,still stays at the stage of focusing on the construction of business system,and lacks a unified data management support system at the school level.As a result,S University has some problems in data management,such as unclear responsibility of cross business data management,high redundancy,low fusion rate,poor reliability and high security risk.In view of these data management problems,combined with work practice,the author makes an in-depth analysis,and puts forward methods and measures to build a new data management system by improving data planning,creating data standard system,creating data quality system and creating data security system,which is used to guide the upgrading and reconstruction of data sharing platform and carry out centralized and unified management of data in the whole domain,In order to achieve effective resource integration and resource sharing,make the business more flexible,data more centralized and development efficiency higher,promote s University to use data to provide better services for teaching,scientific research and daily management,and also provide some references for relevant construction in the field of data management in Colleges and universities.
