| As the highest level basketball league in the world,the NBA brings together a large number of excellent defenders from different countries.They not only have advanced playing styles,but also each player has their own unique offensive techniques.Therefore,it is necessary to study the characteristics of excellent defenders’ offensive techniques.With the failure of China’s men’s basketball team in the 2019 Men’s Basketball World Cup and the loss of qualification for the Tokyo Olympic Games,we have to face up to the differences between ourselves and the world’s top teams,especially the urgent need to make corresponding changes to the shortcomings of China’s guards in personal offense.Therefore,this paper selects international and American excellent guards as the survey objects,and uses the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey,video observation statistics,case analysis,mathematical statistics,and logical analysis to study the offensive technical characteristics of today’s NBA excellent guards in the game,aiming at further explore the development trend of the world’s excellent guards in offensive technology,To provide some theoretical suggestions for China’s defenders to improve their personal offensive skills.The study concludes that:1.Today’s NBA excellent guard players rarely use receiving and shooting,but mainly rely on dribbling and breakthrough shots,demonstrating strong offensive ability with the ball;The shooting areas mainly focus on close range and long area,highlighting that breakthrough layups and three-point long shots have gradually become the main offensive means of excellent defenders;In different defense situations,the main focus is on weak interference defense intensity and one person defense shooting,with the highest percentage of hits being achieved under weak interference defense intensity and zero person defense.2.The passing methods of today’s NBA excellent guard players have a wide variety of passing methods,with the most commonly used being two handed chest pass,followed by a two handed head pass and a rebound pass;The passing area is widely used and can effectively utilize the court space,with the highest number of passes in the long-distance area;In different sports states,the main method is to pass the ball in place;The performance of the assist error ratio is relatively high,which indirectly reflects the strong passing stability and error control ability of NBA excellent defenders;In the application details of passing techniques,it has the characteristics of concealed passing intention,wide passing field of vision,and accurate passing timing.3.Today’s NBA excellent guard player use dribbling to breakthrough more,but hold the ball to breakthrough less;In terms of whether there is cooperation in breakthrough,the two maintain a relatively balanced level,indicating that excellent NBA defenders have good breakthrough ability,They can not only independently complete breakthroughs and surpass others,but also make reasonable use teammates cooperation to complete breakthroughs;Breakthrough areas are mostly initiated in high-altitude areas,while breakthroughs in low-altitude areas are relatively few,and breakthroughs are generally not carried out in restricted areas;The main effect after breakthrough is to shoot and distribute the ball.4.Based on the physical characteristics and use of offensive techniques of today’s NBA excellent defenders,they are summarized and classified into four types.Among them,Curry and Lillard exhibit outstanding long-range shooting ability and personal characteristics that combine breakthrough passing on the offensive end;Dong Qiqi and Murray are adept at utilizing their physical strengths,have strong adversarial abilities,and are adept at combining both internal and external attacks;Owen and Harden demonstrate their comprehensive personal skills and strong singles abilities in their playing styles;Rubio and Campazo often rely on more passing to organize teammates’ attacks,and focus on teamwork and combat. |
