Research On The Influence Of Human Capital On Economic Quality Developmint In China

In recent years,the advantage of China’s cheap labor force has gradually weakened,and the extensive development model based on the input of capital,labor,resources and other factors has also had a negative impact on our country’s economic development.China is facing the risk of falling into the "middle income trap".The new economic growth theory holds that human capital is the source and driving force of sustained economic growth.High-quality development is different from the previous exogenous growth model based on factor input,which mainly relies on technological progress,and is an innovation-driven endogenous economic growth model.As the main body and source of innovation,human capital can accelerate technological progress,promote the upgrading of industrial structure,and drive high-quality economic development.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the influence of human capital on high-quality economic development.On the basis of defining the connotation of human capital and high-quality economic development,this thesis first analyzes the level of human capital from the three aspects of stock,quality and structure.Secondly,based on the new development concept,24 indicators are selected from five dimensions of innovation,coordination,green,openness and sharing,and then the entropy method is used to measure and analyze the high-quality economic development level of our country.Finally,the spatial Durbin model is constructed to explore the impact of human capital on high-quality economic development,and finally relevant conclusions are drawn and some valuable suggestions are put forward.In this thesis,panel data of 30 provinces and cities(except Xizang and Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan)from 2006 to 2020 are used as research samples for analysis.The results show that:(1)The level of human capital in our country is increasing year by year.From 2006 to 2020,the human capital levels of various provinces and cities in our country showed an increasing trend year by year in terms of stock,quality,and structure;in terms of regions,the human capital levels of the three major regions of my country’s east,central,and west also had significant differences in stock,quality,and structure.No matter in terms of human capital stock,quality or structure,the human capital level in the eastern region of our country is significantly higher than the national average level,the human capital level in the central region is roughly equal to the national average level,and the level of human capital in western China is significantly lower than the national average.(2)The level of high-quality economic development in our country is increasing year by year,and the development of various dimensions is uneven.From 2006 to 2020,the overall level of China’s high-quality economic development and the level of high-quality economic development of various provinces and cities in China have been increasing year by year.From the perspective of the five dimensions,from the five dimensions,in addition to the open index has a slight downward trend,the innovation index,coordination index,green index and sharing index all have an obvious upward trend.Innovative and open development is at a relatively low level,significantly lagging behind coordinated,green and shared development.From the results of cluster analysis,a small number of provinces and cities are at a medium level or above,while the vast majority of regions are at a low level.Moreover,the level of high-quality economic development in our region shows the trend of decreasing gradually from east to west.(3)High-quality economic development has a significant positive spillover effect,that is,the improvement of the level of high-quality economic development in the region has a positive effect on the high-quality economic development of neighboring regions.(4)Human capital has a significant impact on high-quality economic development.Both the quality of human capital and the structure of human capital have a significant role in promoting the high-quality economic development of the region.The quality of human capital has a negative spillover effect on the high-quality economic development of neighboring areas.(5)Human capital can promote the development of innovation,development of coordination,development of green,development of openness and development of sharing of the economy.The increase of human capital stock will enhance the level of open development and shared development of the regional economy,the improvement of human capital quality will promote the innovative development and coordinated development of the regional economy,and the optimization of human capital structure will significantly promote the innovative development,coordinated development and green development of the regional economy.According to the results of theoretical analysis and empirical research,the following four suggestions are put forward for improving the high-quality level of the economy: focus on improving the level of innovation;further expand opening up to the outside world;adhere to the "talent" strategy and improve the quality of human capital;deepen the supply-side reform of human capital and optimize the structure of human capital.
