Research On The Coordination Between Industrial Structure And Employment Structure In Shandong Province

On the new journey of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way,transforming the mode of economic development and promoting the optimization and upgrading of economic structure have become important goals for the high-quality development of China’s economy.As an important component of the economic structure,the coordinated development of industrial structure and employment structure is the key to realize the optimization of economic structure.This thesis takes the relationship between industrial structure and employment structure in Shandong Province as the research object,and through a combination of qualitative and quantitative research,elucidates the level of their coordinated development and the mechanism of their interactive development,and investigates the influencing factors of their coordination.Firstly,this thesis summarizes the classical theories and the related studies on industrial structure and employment structure at home and abroad.On this basis,this thesis analyzes the evolution trajectory and status quo of industrial structure and employment structure in Shandong Province and finds that the industrial structure of Shandong Province has gone through four stages of development.It is currently in the 3-2-1 stage,where the tertiary industry has become the leading industry.At the same time,the employment structure in Shandong Province has only gone through two stages,from a 1-2-3 structure before 2014 to a 3-2-1 structure since then.Facts have proved that the development of industrial structure and employment structure in Shandong Province is not coordinated,and the employment structure lags behind the industrial structure.Secondly,this thesis uses indicators such as employment elasticity and structural deviation to quantitatively study the relationship and coordination between industry and employment structure in Shandong Province,and comprehensively measures the coordination of industry and employment structure in Shandong Province by establishing a comprehensive index system to construct a coupling coordination model,and it is found that the coordination of industry and employment structure in Shandong Province is gradually improving,but improvements are still needed.Thirdly,this thesis uses the VAR model to analyze the internal interaction relationship between industry and employment structure in Shandong Province.By constructing the partial least squares diameter analysis model,the external factors affecting the industrial structure and employment structure of Shandong Province are empirically analyzed.From the perspective of the internal interaction between industry and employment,the proportion of output value and employment of one industry will be affected by the changes in the output value and employment proportion of other industries,while from the perspective of external factors,labor quality,opening up level and aging degree will have a positive impact on the coordination of industry structure and employment structure in Shandong Province,and technological progress and investment consumption level will have a negative impact on it.Based on the research results,this thesis puts forward the following policy suggestions for the coordinated development of industrial structure and employment structure in Shandong Province:First,improve the quality of labor and optimize the structure of labor supply.Second,raise the level of opening up and rationally utilize foreign capital.Third,develop old-age related industries and give play to the positive role of aging.Fourth,strengthen innovation and give play to the "employment driving role" of technological progress.Fifth,develop the tertiary industry and enhance the ability to absorb employment.Sixth,implement the strategy of rural revitalization and raise the level of agricultural modernization.
