Biographies convey the power of role models brought by great Chinese and Western people,and contain the charm of language.It is one of the important contents of Chinese teaching.But currently,the teaching of "biographies of characters" has not grasped the characteristics of biographical texts,and has not fully integrated reading,thinking,and writing in actual teaching,resulting in unsatisfactory teaching results.To better develop the teaching of "biographies",it is not only necessary to innovate the previous teaching philosophy of "biographies",but also to inherit and promote excellent teaching methods.The teaching method of combining reading and writing responds to the expectations of the new curriculum standard for "biographies of characters" teaching,focusing on cultivating moral character and enhancing students’ core literacy,and can become a stepping stone for "biographies of characters" teaching to climb the ladder.Therefore,this article will conduct in-depth research on the application of the combination of reading and writing in the teaching of "biographies of characters",focusing on the transformation of reading,thinking and writing,and striving to provide feasible strategies for the teaching of "biographies of characters".This article is divided into five parts to discuss the research on the combination of reading and writing teaching in "biographies of characters".In the first part,based on the reasons for selecting the topic and the significance of the research,based on the collected and organized results of "biographies of characters" teaching research and the combination of reading and writing teaching research,the current research status is analyzed,and the research ideas and methods of the combination of reading and writing teaching in "biographies of characters" are clarified.The second part defines and categorizes the concept of "biographies of characters",lists the selection of texts in Chinese language textbooks,analyzes the arrangement characteristics of "biographies of characters" in textbooks and the stylistic characteristics of the text itself,and then sorts out the content,form,and operational essentials of combining reading and writing.Finally,relevant theories are supplemented to deepen the teaching and research basis.The third part,based on literature analysis and the teaching outline of the combination of reading and writing in "biographies of characters",clarifies the necessity and feasibility of using the combination of reading and writing in "biographies of characters" teaching,laying the foundation for subsequent research.In the fourth part,a questionnaire survey was conducted by combining the reading and writing of "biographies of characters" in junior high school with the current teaching situation.Data was collected and analyzed to identify the existing problems,and then targeted attribution analysis was conducted.The fifth part comprehensively explores the teaching strategies of the unified edition of junior high school "biographies" from the aspects of teaching preparation,teaching design,teaching implementation and guarantee,based on text theory,the foundation of reading and writing integration,and the existing problems in "biographies" teaching,in order to provide reference for frontline teachers.
