Research On The Cognition, Design And Effect Of The "learning, Practicing And Competing" Classroom Teaching Model In Junior High School Physical Education Elective Course

In order to meet the demand of PE teaching reform and help students achieve the educational purpose of "enjoying fun,enhancing physical fitness,perfecting personality and tempering will" in the process of physical exercise,"Teaching Reform Guidelines for Physical Education and Health(for trial implementation)" in2021 and and 2022 "Physical Education and Health Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education"(2022 edition)both clearly propose to further strengthen physical education teaching reform,adhere to "Health First","teach,practice and compete",and actively explore new teaching models.This has set a higher request to Chinese P.E.education.Therefore,in this study,after analysing the realistic background factors of Yucheng Experimental Middle School in Dezhou City,we propose the "learning,practising and competing" model.This study takes the teaching mode of "learning and practicing competition" in junior physical education optional course as the research object,and conducts an indepth discussion on the cognitive status,theoretical design and practical effect of the classroom teaching mode of "learning and practicing competition" through the methods of literature,measurement,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and teaching experiment.The research on the status of cognition takes some students,all physical education teachers and all middle-level and above leaders of Yucheng Experimental Middle School in Dezhou City as the research objects,mainly investigating the understanding and attitude of the teaching mode of "learning and training competition";The theoretical design research takes the teaching mode of "learning and practicing competition" of basketball,volleyball and aerobics as the research object,and mainly explores the significance,feasibility,principle,measures and content of the teaching mode of "learning and practicing competition".In this study,5 classes(n=250 students)randomly selected from Yucheng Experimental Middle School in Dezhou were selected as the experimental class,2 classes were randomly selected as the experimental group(n= 99 students),and the remaining 3classes were selected as the control group(n=151 students).The experimental group used the "learning and practicing competition" classroom teaching mode for teaching,and the control group used the traditional physical education classroom teaching mode for teaching,in order to explore the influence of "learning and practicing competition" classroom teaching mode on students’ sports ability,health behavior and sports morality.SPSS26.0 software was used to process the experimental data.Independent sample t test was used for differences between groups,and paired sample t test was used for differences within groups.The research results show that:(1)After the initial explanation and publicity,students,physical education teachers and school leaders generally understand and agree with the classroom teaching mode of "learning and training competition",which lays a leadership and mass foundation for the development of the classroom teaching mode of "learning and training competition" in junior physical education optional courses.(2)Compared with the traditional classroom teaching mode,the "learning and training competition" classroom teaching mode can significantly improve students’ comprehensive athletic ability(physical fitness,application of skills and tactics,sports cognition and sports display and competition),among which there are gender differences in physical fitness.Boys’ abilities in three sports,namely 1000 m,lung capacity and standing long jump,are significantly improved.Female students showed significant improvement in seated forward flexion,lung capacity and the ability of 800 meters.(3)Compared with the traditional classroom teaching mode,the "learning and training competition" classroom teaching mode has obvious advantages in all dimensions of students’ health behavior(physical exercise awareness and habits,the mastery and application of health knowledge,emotional regulation and environmental adaptation),and all show significant advantages.(4)Compared with the traditional classroom teaching mode,the "learning and training competition" classroom teaching mode has obvious advantages in all dimensions of students’ sports morality.It has a significant effect on improving students’ sports spirit and ethics,but has no impact on sports character.According to the research conclusion,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)Further deepen curriculum reform around the core quality of physical education,improve the science and education of physical education classroom,on the one hand strengthen the internal integration process of "learning and training competition",on the other hand,increase the external effective combination of "learning and training competition" and junior high school physical education optional classroom teaching;(2)Schools should strengthen the publicity and promotion of "learning and training competition" classroom teaching,create a school sports culture atmosphere,improve the school sports management mechanism,promote teaching research and teacher development,optimize the classroom setting of "learning and training competition".(3)Physical education teachers should constantly update their knowledge system in theory and practice and keep learning.(4)Apply the classroom teaching mode of "learning and training competition" to junior physical education elective courses,attention should be paid to reasonably arrange the time of "learning","training" and "competition" according to different specialties and teaching progress,especially carefully consider the specific competition system and competition focus of different stages,do a good job in teaching monitoring,and arrange training tasks scientifically.(5)When the classroom teaching model of "learning and practicing competition" is applied in practice,it should highlight students’ dominant position as the starting point of class,and provide students with time and space for independent learning and innovation.At the same time,attention should be paid to increase the utilization rate of special team leaders,improve the awareness of group cooperation,and balance the overall level of students within and between groups when arranging groups,so as to create favorable conditions for students to fully experience the fun of sports.
