To realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,we must always adhere to the main position of patriotic education in schools.If we want to cultivate students’ patriotic spirit,we must strengthen students’ patriotic education.The research object of this paper is a rural primary school located in the northeastern mountainous area of Shaanxi Province.Due to the regional limitations and the insufficient attention of the relevant subjects of patriotic education to patriotic education,the patriotic education of this specific region and specific educational objects is faced with many problems,which seriously restricts the development of patriotic education in rural primary schools.Therefore,it is a subject of great strategic significance to strengthen patriotic education and improve the effectiveness of patriotic education for primary school students in rural areas.Taking the rural primary school in S county of Shaanxi Province as an example,this paper constructs a research framework that includes the basic content of patriotic education,the carrier of patriotic education practice,the construction of patriotic education atmosphere and the organization and leadership of patriotic education by combining quality,explores the current situation of patriotic education in rural primary school in S county,and analyzes the problems faced by its patriotic education.And analyze the reasons,and then put forward the corresponding feasible strategies and suggestions.In the introduction part,this paper expounds the background,purpose and significance of the patriotic education of primary school students in the new era,reviews and summarizes the relevant literature,and clarifies the research ideas.The first chapter is an overview of patriotism education for primary school students in the new era,including the relevant connotation,basic characteristics and theoretical basis.The second chapter expounds the main content and important value of the patriotic education of primary school students in the new era.The third chapter,taking the rural primary school in S County of Shaanxi Province as an example,quantifies the four dimensions of elementary students’ patriotic education,namely the basic content,the carrier of patriotic education practice,the construction of patriotic education atmosphere and the organization and leadership of patriotic education,and analyzes the current situation of patriotic education.By means of quantitative research and qualitative research,this paper summarizes the problems existing in patriotism in rural primary schools:the content of patriotism education is scattered and has not kept pace with The Times;The cognition of the relevant subjects of patriotism education to the carrier of practice is superficial and the application of the carrier of practice is formalized.The atmosphere of patriotism education is not strong enough,and there is a phenomenon of separation between theory and practice;Lack of relevant patriotic education leading organization,patriotic education rules and regulations are not perfect.The fourth chapter analyzes the causes of the problems existing in the patriotic education of rural primary school students in S County of Shaanxi Province.The main reasons are as follows:the prominent tendency of utilitarianism in school education and the lack of construction of teachers;The subjective importance of participants is not enough and the investment in patriotic education is limited.The environment of patriotism education is more and more complex and the joint efforts inside and outside the school have not yet formed.The school party and mass organization is weakened and the school education evaluation guarantee system is not perfect.The fifth chapter is based on the above specific problems to construct the feasible path analysis,and put forward:play the role of classroom teaching main channel,strengthen the knowledge of patriotism,improve the comprehensive quality of teachers,strengthen the construction of teachers;Deepen the cognition of school participation attention to the carrier of practice and perfect the government’s investment in patriotism education;Gather multiple forces to build a community of education,multi-dimensional linkage to form educational forces inside and outside the school;The Party and the government assume the main responsibility,build patriotic consensus,improve the assessment and security system in schools,and guide rational patriotism,in order to provide reference for the effective development of patriotic education for primary school students in the new era.
