The 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China made a major judgment that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,and opened a new journey to accelerate the modernization of education and build a strong country through education.In order to promote the continuous progress of the overall level of education informatization in China and embark on a path of education informatization development with Chinese characteristics,it is necessary to improve the information literacy of all teachers,including teachers of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.To this end,in 2018,the Ministry of Education issued the "Education Informatization 2.0 Action Plan",which officially opened a new curtain on improving teachers’ information literacy.In 2021,the Ministry of Education issued the "Code for the Construction of Digital Campuses in Colleges and Universities(Trial)",which pointed out that teachers’ information literacy should be included in the basic capacity building of teachers,and the normalization and continuity of information literacy improvement should be ensured.The "Teacher Digital Literacy" education industry standard released by the Ministry of Education in 2022 further verifies that the needs of teacher literacy change with time in the information age.Improving the information literacy of teachers of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities in the new era is of great significance to fully implementing the party’s education policy,implementing the goal of cultivating morality and cultivating people,cultivating innovative talents,building the main channel of ideological and political classrooms,guarding the main ideological position of colleges and universities,and ensuring the national ideological security.With the continuous advancement of the process of deep integration of information technology and ideological and political courses,the continuous deepening of the research on the informatization ability of ideological and political course teachers,and the continuous innovation of online and offline hybrid teaching mode,the theoretical research on information literacy of teachers in ideological and political courses in colleges and universities has progressed smoothly,and the practical effect has achieved outstanding results,but there are still certain bottlenecks and difficulties in improving the information literacy of teachers in ideological and political courses in colleges and universities in the new era.Due to the constraints of subject background and own cognition,the improvement of information literacy by teachers of ideological and political courses in individual colleges and universities is prone to fall into a bottleneck period,which is limited by insufficient policy guidance and loopholes in the training system,and there is a lack of external support for ideological and political course teachers in groups of colleges and universities to improve information literacy.From this point of view,there is still much room for improvement in improving the information literacy of teachers of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities in the new era.In view of this,to improve the information literacy of teachers of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities in the new era,on the one hand,it is necessary to provide good external support,optimize the top-level design of information literacy improvement of teachers of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,improve the information literacy standards and systems of teachers of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,and innovate the mode and working system for improving the information literacy of teachers of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.Stimulate the awareness of the value of information literacy of teachers of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.
