Both the "double reduction policy" and the 2022 edition of the new curriculum standard put forward the concept of core literacy,cultivating students’ comprehensive literacy,holistic education and inquiry learning,which are new requirements for subject education under the development of the new era.At present,there are more and more ways and channels for students to receive information.In the new era,project-based learning can better cultivate students’ ability and awareness to raise and solve problems,expand and explore in a team,plan,cooperate,communicate and exchange,and complete and implement the cultivation of core qualities in the final project presentation and project report.At present,there are few practical teaching cases concerning the research and application of project-based learning in junior middle school music classroom teaching.Therefore,the author tries to study and apply project-based learning in music classroom teaching,hoping to provide realistic cases for it.This study consists of five parts: the first part mainly describes the research reasons,research purposes,research significance,research methods and research summary at home and abroad.The second part is related theories of project-based learning,including its development and evolution,theoretical basis,concept definition,etc.,which lays a solid theoretical foundation for the subsequent application of project-based learning.The third part is the teacher interview and student control experiment of this study,through this experimental investigation and analysis to confirm the popularity of project-based learning and positive influence.In the fourth part,based on the results of controlled experiments and relying on the general design ideas of project-style learning and the design process of project-style learning in music class,the project learning was successfully implemented in the first and second music class of junior high school after case design,and laid the groundwork for the follow-up application effect investigation.The fifth part mainly starts with the pre-test and post-test survey.The pre-test survey direction is the analysis of the current situation of students and music classroom teaching in the school where the survey is conducted.The post-test investigation direction is the implementation effect of project-based learning.By comparing the data of pre-test and post-test,this paper analyzes the implementation effect and influence of project-based learning in junior middle school music classroom.Through the final summary of the research and application of project-based learning in junior middle school music classroom teaching,further thinking and prospect.
