Since the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly stressed the need to inherit and develop the excellent traditional Chinese culture in a series of meetings of the Party Central Committee,which plays an important role in the continuation and development of Chinese civilization and the progress of human civilization.In 2020,the Ministry of Education issued the "Guidelines for the Ideological and Political Construction of Higher Education Courses",which proposed that all kinds of courses in colleges and universities should go with the ideological and political theory courses in the same direction and form synergy.Promoting the ideological and political construction of higher education courses has also become an important focus of curriculum reform in colleges and universities.The feeling of family and country is one of the connotations of China’s excellent traditional culture,and also the core value content of China’s martial arts ethics.Under the circumstances of great changes in the world that have not happened in a century,realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation has become the historical mission and inevitable choice of every student.Cultivating the home-country feelings and qualities of students majoring in martial arts and national traditional sports in colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province can not only deepen students’ patriotism and national pride,promote students’ all-round development,form noble moral qualities and correct values,but also help to carry forward excellent traditional Chinese culture,promote the in-depth integration of martial arts education and curriculum ideological and political education,and make ideological and political education better penetrate into martial arts education.Using the methods of literature,interview,questionnaire,logical analysis,mathematical statistics and other research methods,and from the perspective of ideological and political curriculum,this paper first briefly summarizes the connotation and convergence of the specialty of martial arts and traditional national sports in colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province and the feelings of family and country,and then from the perspective of love for family This paper makes an investigation and analysis of the cultivation of the home-country feelings of the students majoring in martial arts and traditional national sports in colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province from three aspects of patriotism and combining with martial arts teaching,and finally analyzes the difficulties in cultivating the home-country feelings of the students majoring in martial arts and traditional national sports in colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province,and puts forward corresponding optimization countermeasures.The main research conclusions are as follows:1.The feeling of home country carries the excellent national spirit and traditional culture of our country.It is the most sincere emotion among the people who practice martial arts.At present,the cultivation of the feeling of home country of the students majoring in martial arts and traditional national sports in colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province has achieved certain results,but there are still some problems in the specific cultivation measures.2.The personal sense of homesickness needs to be improved.The blending of Chinese and Western ideology and culture and the change of social environment have continuously impacted students’ ideology and affected the development of students’sense of home and country.3.The family pays little attention to the students’ home-country feelings,which to a certain extent results in the low educational atmosphere of the family’s home-country feelings and the lack of students’ home-country feelings.4.The school martial arts and traditional national sports majors lack innovation and practice in the cultivation of students’ home-country feelings in terms of contents and methods,and have not formed a complete cultivation system of home-country feelings,which affects the cultivation of students’ home-country feelings Education.5.The frequent occurrence of undesirable phenomena of social martial arts has hindered the inheritance,protection and development of martial arts,and to a certain extent has affected the formation of the national feelings and qualities of college students majoring in martial arts and traditional national sports.According to the research conclusions,the following development strategies are proposed:1.Improve the cultivation mechanism of national feelings of martial arts and national traditional sports majors in colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province.Formulate goals related to feelings of family and country;We should improve martial arts teachers’ home-country quality,establish a high-quality professional martial arts teacher team,and do a good job in the evaluation of the cultivation of home-country feelings.2.Fully excavate the elements of family feelings contained in martial arts culture,enrich the cultivation content of family feelings in martial arts teaching,adopt new teaching methods,and optimize the teaching methods of martial arts courses in colleges and universities.3.Broaden the education channels of national sentiment for martial arts and national traditional sports majors in colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province.We will open up the "three classes" of home-country feelings education,establish a home-school information exchange platform,and create a strong atmosphere of home-country feelings.At the same time,we should give full play to the role of society in the cultivation of students’ feelings of home and country,and build a new pattern of family,school and social integration education.
