Since the reform and opening up,China’s Comprehensive National Power has been growing day by day,and sports has also been developing rapidly.The increasingly acute physical and mental health issues of young people have become a hindrance factor in the construction of a sports powerhouse.School sports shoulder the historical mission of solving the physical and mental health problems of young people,and safeguard the development of students’ physical and mental health.Therefore,the country has introduced various reform measures aimed at reversing this negative trend,among which the teaching reform in the field of school physical education has become an important lever to improve the health status of adolescents.Since 2020,the "Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening and Improving School Physical Education Work in the New Era" and the "Guidelines for Teaching Reform in Physical Education and Health(Trial)" have been issued one after another,clarifying the Zeitgeist and specific requirements of the teaching reform idea of "teach well,practice frequently and compete regularly".The country hopes to improve the quality of school physical education teaching and promote the all-round development of students.Under this background,"teach well,practice frequently and compete regularly" has become a new research hotspot in the field of school physical education,and its theoretical basis and practical approach have profound research significance and value.In this paper,literature,questionnaire,field investigation,interview,case analysis,mathematical statistics and other research methods are adopted.According to the meaning of "teach well,practice frequently and compete regularly",the theoretical basis of "teach well,practice frequently and compete regularly" is sought,and the practical way of "teach well,practice frequently and compete regularly" is promoted.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)"Teach well" is an effective teaching method that guides students to master health knowledge,basic motor skills,and specialized motor skills.Among them,the theoretical basis for health knowledge includes the Knowledge,Attitude,and Practice(KAP)Theory and Core Literacy of Physical Education.The theoretical basis for basic motor skills is the sequence model of motor proficiency development and the peak model of motor skill development.The theoretical basis of specific motor skills is Paul Granger Lifelong Education View and Motor Skills Formation Principle.The teaching objectives in the practice of "teach well" should be guided by the application of skills,combined with the actual situation of the school,and grasp the differences between different classmates;The teaching content should closely combine knowledge and projects,attach importance to basic motor skills,and pay attention to specialized motor skills;The teaching method needs to accurately grasp the motor skill proficiency,adopt dynamic layered teaching,and stimulate students’ interest.(2)The main way to achieve "practice frequently" is through extracurricular physical exercise in schools,which requires long-term practice and consolidation.Among them,the theoretical basis for one-hour in-school exercise is Physical Practice Experience Theory and Deliberate Practice Theory;The theoretical basis of one-hour off-campus exercise is Marxist Law of Qualitative and Quantitative Change and Deep Learning Theory.The practice of "practice frequently" requires organizing sufficient physical education classes,ensuring the time for extracurricular sports activities,and optimizing the collaborative mechanism between family,school,and society to meet the accumulation of "quantity" of diligent training.By following the formation rules of sports skills,reasonably controlling the exercise load,improving the accuracy of practice,and promoting the improvement of the "quality" of frequent practice.(3)The concept of "compete regularly" is to build a sports competition system for primary and secondary schools that integrates intra school competitions,inter school competitions,and selective competitions.Among them,The theoretical basis of intramural competition is Feedback Mechanism Theory and Achievement Motivation Theory;The theoretical basis of inter-school competition is Symbiosis Theory and Sports Education Model;The theoretical basis of the selective competition system is the Talent Status Theory of "the First Resource" and Popularization and Improvement of the "Mutual Giving Theory".The practice of "compete regularly" requires the implementation of a sports competition mechanism for everyone to participate through both in and out of class competitions and reward measures;By improving the connection of sports events,opening up channels for further education,creating a good atmosphere,and constructing a progressive sports competition system at all levels;By optimizing venue facilities,strengthening safety and funding support,we will ensure the security of sports events.(4)The concept of "teach well,practice frequently and compete regularly" is an integrated and systematic teaching reform approach that should be coordinated,optimized,and promoted in a coordinated manner.The government should formulate a plan for the reform and development of school physical education teaching,and promote the implementation of group responsibilities of "teach well,practice frequently and compete regularly";The school Sport management should improve the overall awareness of educating people through the relevant theoretical and practical training of"teach well,practice frequently and compete regularly";Physical education teachers should transform their teaching philosophy and enhance their professional qualities and abilities;The evaluation of school physical education should effectively utilize the functions of the evaluation system through diversified evaluation subjects,complete evaluation forms,diversified evaluation contents,and scientific evaluation methods.
