Mind map is an explicit thinking tool, which can effectively show the relationship between knowledge, express knowledge intuitively, reflect the dynamic generation of students’ thinking, and cultivate students’ thinking ability. The important task of the review course of the third grade ethics and rule of law course is to help students consolidate their basic knowledge, especially to clarify the level and logical relationship of knowledge points. The important task of the third grade moral and rule of law review course is to help students consolidate basic knowledge, especially to clarify the level and logical relationship between knowledge points. However, due to the tight time and heavy task of the third round of review in junior high school, how to help students better consolidate basic knowledge and clarify the relationship between knowledge points in a limited time is a problem that must be solved in the first round of review.Volume II of Grade 8 is highly theoretical。The expression is fixed and rigorous, and the content is detailed.Reviewing with the help of mind map can effectively help students clarify the hierarchical relationship between knowledge points, and play a better consolidation effect. Therefore, based on my teaching practice and theoretical research, the author conducts research on the ninth grade students of a middle school in Hefei City, explores the application of mind mapping in the ethics and rule of law in the third grade review class, and explores the advantages of mind mapping in the process,Deficiencies and optimization strategies, etc.,provide teaching reference for front-line educators engaged in relevant work, and also help students in the application of mind mapping.First of all, this paper takes the inherent meaning of mind mapping as the starting point to show that mind map is a thinking tool that visualizes divergent thinking. At the same time,it discusses in detail the main theoretical basis of mind map,Bertalanffy’s system theory,Bloom’s knowledge classification theory, cognitive psychology and schema theory, and clearly points out the four principles of mind map drawing: scientific principle, systematic principle,Personalization principle and timely reinforcement principle.Secondly, the article analyzes the feasibility of using mind maps in the third grade review course on ethics and the rule of law, mentions that the transformation of educational objects provides a foreshadowing, and the fit between the mind map and the third grade ethics and rule of law review course, and focuses on thinking. The excellent characteristics of maps in practice: For teachers, mind maps are good teaching aids, which can help teachers optimize teaching design, make the knowledge structure more visual and intuitive, and fully mobilize the classroom atmosphere; In other words, mind mapping can make students have a strong interest in learning, help students to understand and master knowledge systematically, and train students to have strong logical thinking ability.Through interviews and surveys with students and teachers, the results show that there are still some problems in the use of mind maps in the third grade review course on ethics and the rule of law.For example, students generally do not fundamentally realize the importance of mind maps.,students do not have enough ability to draw mind maps, students have not established good basic habits of using mind maps, and many teachers have not been able to deeply understand the fundamental meaning of mind maps,so they cannot correctly compile and understand mind maps,It is also impossible to play the advantages of mind mapping in the teaching process. In order to solve these problems, according to the research object, this paper proposes optimization strategies: firstly, teachers should change their teaching concepts, strengthen the systematic study and research on mind maps, and broaden the scope of application of mind maps in the third grade review course on ethics and rule of law;secondly Students should correctly understand mind maps, improve students’ ability to use mind maps independently, and improve students’ drawing skills. The above measures have good promotion significance and reference value for the application of mind map in the third grade review course of morality and rule of law.
