| In recent years,career initiation education has received more and more attention,but compared with the development and experience abroad,China’s career initiation education system needs to be strengthened and deepened in both depth and breadth.And based on theories such as career theory and vocational education,it is necessary to provide career initiation education in early childhood to create a connection with the adult career world in advance and help young children establish a correct and scientific view of career.Based on Schober’s theory of career cognitive development stages,Piaget’s theory of cognitive development and Froebel’s game theory,this study investigates the current situation of career initiation education and the development of career game activities in kindergartens by conducting questionnaires and in-depth interviews with middle class teachers in three kindergartens.The survey found that most teachers have knowledge of career initiation,but they seldom carry out career initiation games in their teaching activities,while children’s knowledge of careers comes mostly from picture books and TV.This study designs three career initiation-oriented play activities for young children through the setting and establishment of career play activity themes,scenes,plots and roles,and provides new ideas for the design of career initiation play activities for young children.On this basis,an action research was conducted in kindergarten Y in Pingdingshan City to investigate the feasibility of career initiation oriented play activities for children,and the process and results of the implementation of career initiation play activities for children were investigated through three designs,implementation and reflections.It was found that the children had greater interest and enthusiasm in participating in the career game activities,and the interviews after the game activities were completed revealed that the children were able to describe the career process and content of the careers presented in the game activity themes more fluently,and had certain interest and expectation in participating in the career game activities.This indicates that the development and implementation of career-oriented play activities for children can help and promote children’s career enlightenment.Based on the design,development and results of the game activities,we summarize and reflect on them,and make relevant suggestions for the design of career-inspired play activities for young children.First of all,the design of career initiation-oriented play activities for young children should be child-centered,always adhering to the idea of coming from children to children,with safety,contextuality and education.Secondly,the main teaching goal is to arouse children’s vocational interest,combine play activities with vocational initiation education,and at the same time promote the development of children’s vocational awareness,vocational values and emotional-emotional attitudes on the basis of the three major areas of the kindergarten charter.Finally,in the process of implementing career games activities,we always play the main role of children and teachers guide them,so as to enrich children’s career awareness,understand career contents,help children establish a correct and systematic career view,and pave the way for subsequent career education and career planning... |
