With the advancement of the national curriculum reform,the special education field has successively promulgated compulsory education curriculum plans,new curriculum standards,and new teaching materials for schools for the blind,deaf and intellectual.Today,with the booming development of special education,ethnic minority children with intellectual disabilities in Xinjiang also have the opportunity to receive a good education.Appropriate compulsory education is provided to ethnic minority students,especially those with intellectual disabilities,so as to compensate for defects,reduce family pressure,and promote social harmony and China.The consciousness of national community is of great significance.Literacy teaching can be divided into three parts: the understanding of the sound,the shape and the meaning of the word,which is also a complex process of thinking activities.Due to many factors such as environment and self-deficiency,the development of Chinese education is facing challenges.Language is the most important communication tool and information carrier for human beings."Living Language" is an important carrier for students in training schools to learn and apply language.It is also the basis for intellectually disabled students to develop thinking,improve functions,learn cultural knowledge and form life skills.According to the requirements of the "Literature Language Course Standards for Compulsory Education in Peizhi Schools(2016 Edition)",the literacy teaching of the Chinese language courses in Peizhi schools should,on the one hand,cultivate students’ love for the motherland’s language and characters,and on the other hand,based on the individual needs of students,improve their ability to read and write to facilitate their adaptation to social life.Paying attention to this special group in ethnic areas,analyzing the special reasons for its formation and discussing countermeasures is of great significance to its educational rehabilitation and social adaptation.This paper is based on developmental psychology and educational psychology,combined with the teaching rules of Chinese literacy and writing in primary schools,referring to the Chinese textbooks for life in special schools,starting from the actual teaching practice,using classroom observation,questionnaires,interviews and other methods to study Xinjiang.Taking 8 special education schools in the region as an example,this paper investigates the current situation of literacy and writing teaching for minority students with intellectual disabilities in Xinjiang.Mainly from the composition of teachers,literacy teaching objectives,educational concepts,teaching methods,teaching evaluation,teaching support degree data processing and analysis,found that there are many problems in literacy teaching and the reasons for the problems.According to the existing problems,the author puts forward feasible operational suggestions from the school level,the teacher level and the parent level: providing learning and training opportunities to help teachers grow;adopting various welfare measures to stabilize the teaching team;changing role positions and establishing new careers Ideal;moderately display strokes,radicals,Chinese characters and pictures;set selective literacy goals and adopt dual-track stratified training;form a multi-party evaluation mechanism to promote classroom colleges;know children and regain information;rational positioning,home-school co-education.
