Solid geometry is a very important knowledge system in the high school curriculum system.It plays an irreplaceable role in developing students’ mathematical core qualities such as mathematical abstraction,computing ability,visual imagination,mathematical modeling and logical reasoning.With the implementation of the new round of college entrance examination reform,the examination of three-dimensional geometry is diversified,comprehensive and flexible.Teachers’ teaching and students’ learning are facing great challenges.Therefore,this study takes the threedimensional geometry review teaching of senior three under the new college entrance examination mode as an example,and integrates Polya’s problem-solving theory into the review teaching of senior three for indepth research.It is of great significance to find a teaching method suitable for the new college entrance examination and improve the students’ academic quality.Based on the review teaching of three-dimensional geometry in senior three under the new college entrance examination mode,this paper makes a teaching experiment with the help of Polya’s problem-solving theory.This paper mainly studies two aspects: 1.Analysis of the current situation of solid geometry teaching under the new college entrance examination mode;2.Teaching practice of three-dimensional geometry review in senior three integrated with Polya’s problem-solving theory.First of all,through the literature research method,the paper studies the relevant contents of Polya’s problem-solving theory and solid geometry.Secondly,211 students and 15 math teachers in the third grade of senior high school in the author’s school were analyzed through questionnaires and interviews.The survey and interview results show that there are some problems at the student level,such as insufficient initiative in pre class preparation,insufficient implementation of error correction,weak awareness of reflection and summary,difficulties in building knowledge system,and obstacles in solving problems.At the teacher level,there are many problems,such as single teaching methods,insufficient theoretical study of problem-solving,and neglect of students’ subjectivity.Then,The "four stages" of Polya’s problem solving will be integrated into the review teaching of solid geometry to guide students to understand problems,inspire students to draw up plans,urge students to implement plans,assist students to review and reflect,guide students to analogize,and gradually cultivate students to develop the habit of good thinking and summary.Incorporate Polya’s problem-solving thinking into the review teaching of solid geometry,and guide students to establish knowledge system and method network diagram.Finally,with the help of experimental data,the effect of teaching experiment is analyzed.The teaching experimental data show that the integration of Polya’s problem-solving theory into the review teaching of three-dimensional geometry in senior three verifies the guiding significance of Polya’s problem-solving theory to the review teaching of three-dimensional geometry in senior three,which can effectively improve the review efficiency,standardize the problem-solving process,and improve the students’ mathematical performance.
