In order to implement the requirements put forward by the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,in September 2016,the research results of key competences of Chinese students’ development were released,and six key competences of students including practice and innovation were established.The key competence of practice and innovation includes labor awareness,indicating that labor education is also crucial to the development of students’ key competences.In recent years,labor education has been receiving more attention.In March 2020,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the "Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening Labor Education in Universities,Middle Schools and Primary Schools in the New Era",requiring "to grasp the key links of labor education" and "increase the cultivation of labor concepts and attitudes in the related teaching courses".In April 2022,the Ministry of Education issued the "Labor Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education",which proposed the key competences of labor courses,that is,projects of implementation of labor courses should integrate labor projects and other courses.It gives an example in the development of agriculture organically integrated with the learning of relevant knowledge in courses such as science and geography.It can be seen that labor education and subject teaching are not separated,but can form a relationship of organic integration and mutual promotion.This paper sorts out relevant literature on the connotation,historical development,content value,and integration of labor education into classroom teaching.Through investigation,it is found that the current primary school students do not want to work,do not cherish the fruits of labor,and lack labor skills.Through interviews,it is found that teachers do not pay enough attention to labor education.On this basis,it analyzes the resources that can be integrated in the two courses of labor education and science,and the path of integrating labor education into the teaching of science courses.Under the guidance of the theoretical basis,it excavates the elementary science teaching case integrating labor education to cultivate students’ practice and innovation ability.The research content is divided into four parts.The first part analyzes the necessity of integration of science and labor education in primary school from the aspects of social requirements,theoretical basis,and practical reasons.With the development of economy and technology,the demand for innovative laborers increases,therefore,in the new era,it is necessary for us to re-understand the educational function and value of labor education.The second part starts from the inner connection between primary school science and labor education,and analyzes the possibility of the integration of labor education and science teaching in primary school.The third part analyzes the teaching methods of the two courses of science and labor education in primary school,and finds out the lecturing method,learning by doing,situational experience method,and inquiry method as the methods for the integration of labor education and science in primary school.The fourth part analyzes the implementation strategies of science and labor education to cultivate students’ practice and innovation ability from digging textbook resources and optimizing teaching design.Through research,it is found that both science and labor curriculum goals have the content of cultivating labor practice innovation,and in these cases,it is found that the situational experience method,inquiry method,project-based learning method and other methods can enable students to improve their innovative ability in practice.
