With the coming of the information age,the information science and technology course is playing a more and more significant role in students’ life.The development of The Times puts forward higher requirements for the information science and technology course.In April 2022,the Ministry of Education officially promulgated the Compulsory Education Information Technology Curriculum Standards,announcing that "Information technology curriculum" was officially renamed as "Information science and technology Curriculum" and officially had independent curriculum standards.The official promulgation of the new curriculum standards also put forward higher requirements for teachers’ teaching and students’ learning.More emphasis on the depth of students in the learning process and knowledge of lifelong benefits.As a research hotspot in the current field of education,the connotation of deep learning is consistent with the learning requirements put forward in the new curriculum standard.How to promote students’ deep learning has become a research hotspot in the current field of education.However,in the traditional teaching of information science and technology,there are some shallow learning situations,such as students’ mechanical learning,knowledge retelling and students’ simple imitation of teachers’ operation,which is not conducive to students’ long-term development and deep learning and cannot meet the requirements of the new curriculum standard for students’ learning in information science and technology course.Under the background of the new era,the traditional teaching method has been unable to meet the requirements of the new curriculum standard.How to find a new teaching method in the information science and technology curriculum to promote the in-depth learning of students,so that students can develop a good habit of thinking that will benefit their life is the main problem facing the current information science and technology curriculum.By means of questionnaire survey,interview and observation,this thesis understands the current situation of deep learning of junior high school students in information science and technology course.On this basis,it aims at the six dimensions of deep learning proposed by the National Research Council of the United States,and combines deep learning with the teaching mode of PAD class.The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of PAD class teaching mode on deep learning of junior middle school students in information science and technology course.In this study,the combination of the PAD class and junior middle school information science and technology curriculum builds the classroom teaching process suitable for information science and technology curriculum.In addition,the teaching process of PAD class is applied to the teaching design of information science and technology class in junior middle school,and the role of teaching design based on the teaching mode of PAD class is verified in promoting students’ deep learning.This study uses the teaching experiment method,selects two basic classes with similar number of students to carry out the teaching experiment,applies the teaching design of PAD class to the experimental class,verifies the experimental hypothesis by using the measurement data before and after the questionnaire,the "bright test help" homework and the classroom observation table and other tools,and draws the experimental conclusions: PAD class teaching model can effectively promote the deep learning of junior high school students in information science and technology course and improve their deep learning performance in class to a certain extent.
