| With the development of the times,the difficulty of high school students’ coursework,the pressure of the college entrance examination,and the temptation outside of learning continue to increase,causing them to gradually lose their enthusiasm for learning,their autonomy continues to decrease,and the time they truly devote to learning also continues to decrease.If this situation is allowed to continue to develop,it will seriously affect the growth and development of students.Student engagement in learning is not only an important indicator for measuring educational quality and predicting academic performance,but also closely related to students’ physical and mental health.The current educational task not only focuses on the mastery of knowledge and skills,but also emphasizes the healthy development of body and mind,so many scholars have included mindfulness in positive psychology into the scope of educational research.In past studies,mindfulness has been associated with many positive psychological outcomes,such as high happiness,low stress,and less negative emotions.And the level of individual mindfulness has a certain impact on learning engagement,but the path of action between the two is not clear enough.Self active machines include two parts: highly internalized external motivation and internal motivation,which are considered important factors affecting learning engagement.Therefore,this article selects high school students as the research object,focusing on the relationship between mindfulness and learning engagement,exploring the mechanism of action of self-active mechanisms between the two,and exploring the impact of mindfulness intervention on mindfulness,self-active mechanisms,and learning engagement.This article is divided into two studies:Study 1: A related study conducted a survey on 553 students from two high schools in Guangxi using the Mindfulness Attention Awareness Scale,Learning Engagement Scale,and Academic Self Regulation Questionnaire.The aim was to understand the current situation of high school students’ mindfulness,self motivation,and learning engagement,and to explore whether there is a mediating effect of high school students’ autonomous motivation between mindfulness and learning engagement.Study 2: Intervention Study.55 students were randomly divided into an intervention group(28people)and a control group(27 people).The experimental group received an eight week mindfulness intervention,while the control group did not receive any intervention.To investigate whether mindfulness intervention can significantly affect the level of high school students’ learning engagement.The specific results are as follows:(1)High school students’ mindfulness,initiative,and learning engagement scores are all above average.(2)There is a significant correlation between mindfulness,self motivation,and learning engagement among high school students.Mindfulness positively predicts learning engagement;Mindfulness positively predicts autonomous motivation;Self active machine forward predictive learning investment.(3)Self active machines play a mediating role between mindfulness and learning engagement.(4)Mindfulness intervention can significantly improve the level of mindfulness,initiative,and learning engagement of high school students. |
