| Learning attitude is a subjective reflection of students’ perceptions of the teaching process and results of a course, and it is also one of the important factors affecting learning achievement.Based on the previous work, this study makes use of the privilege of the ISSC(Rise-China International STEM Study Contest)to record and assess students’ learning achievement objectively and accurately.A more in-depth study was conducted on students’ attitudes in cooperative learning and their influence on learning achievement. The study uses interview and classroom observation methods to detect students’ attitudes in project-based cooperative learning and their influence on learning achievement, and to extract the key factors affecting learning achievement. An interview outline and a classroom observation record form were developed by combining the results of studies related to learning attitudes and pre-interviews.The attitudes of 57 junior high school students in project-based cooperative learning were observed, and students’ learning achievement was collected. The observed textual information was coded and processed using Nvivo12 software, and the learning attitude performance was analyzed based on the coding results. The quantitative results of the influence of learning attitudes on learning achievement were obtained by calculating the correlation between the two,and finally, the key factors in learning attitudes that influence learning achievement were analyzed and extracted. This study found that:1.the learning attitudes of junior high school students in science and technology games project learning are generally positive,specifically:(1)the cognitive level has variability, which shows that before and after practice, students’ learning purposes are different;(2)the affective experience has variability, which shows that during practice, students’ emotions will change;(3)the behavioral tendency shows individual differences, and the degree of students’ participation in practice and when facing problems.2.The influence of junior high school students’ learning attitudes on learning achievement is demonstrated by:(1)cognitive level, positive cooperative cognition, project cognition and peer cognition can promote students’ learning achievement;(2)affective experience, holding positive emotions towards project cooperative learning as well as appropriate tension and anxiety can promote students’ learning achievement, among which holding positive emotions towards cooperation is a key factor in achieving learning achievement;(3)behavioral tendencies, positive problem-solving behaviors can promote students’ learning achievement, among which positive cooperative behaviors are a key factor in achieving learning achievement. The above findings provide some insights for future project cooperative learning activities: 1.designing interesting and inquiry-based projects can stimulate students’ interest;2.setting moderate difficulties in inquiry practice can cultivate students’ courage to be unafraid of difficulties;3.teachers need to guide students to reasonably assign team tasks and reduce students’ "free-riding" behavior. |
