At present,vocational education in China has entered a new era and a stage of comprehensive reform,and research on curriculum and teaching reform in vocational education has gradually received attention.In the field of vocational education,cooperation between schools and enterprises,integration of industry and education,and integration of work and learning are still key research directions.The Ministry of Education has mentioned in documents such as the "Implementation Methods for National Vocational Education Reform" and "Opinions on Promoting the High Quality Development of Modern Vocational Education" that vocational schools should deepen school enterprise cooperation,and integrate new technologies,processes,standards,and methods into their curriculum,teaching,and textbooks based on the job content,work standards,and work standards of enterprise positions.And it is pointed out that teaching methods such as project-based teaching and modular teaching should be widely implemented,breaking the traditional mode of subject teaching and exploring "action oriented" teaching.Therefore,under the guidance of the aforementioned background and policy documents,this study aims to explore the reform and experimentation of vocational education teaching methods,with the aim of integrating modular teaching into the teaching of the "Graphic Image Processing" course in vocational computer application majors.This research adopts the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and action research.Firstly,the development history of modular teaching both domestically and internationally was reviewed,clarifying the connotation of modular teaching and the theoretical schools of course content module division.The current application status of modular teaching in computer science courses was summarized,and the research scope of this study was clarified.Secondly,based on the implementation process of MES course theory proposed by Professor Xu Guoqing and Professor Liu Yi,the path and process for dividing course content modules in this study are proposed,which includes analyzing career fields,establishing job responsibility descriptions,summarizing job tasks,dividing course modules,and developing learning units.At the same time,referring to the implementation steps of modular teaching in existing research and Professor He Ke kang’s "learning" centered teaching design model,the implementation flowchart of modular teaching in this study was designed from three parts: dividing module content,implementing module content,and evaluating module content.The exploration of the application of modular teaching in the course "Graphics and Image Processing" in secondary vocational schools is conducted from two aspects: first,through questionnaires and interviews,it was found that the current teaching status of the course "Graphics and Image Processing",as well as the job tasks,responsibilities,knowledge and skills required for graphic design positions,were not integrated with the actual job requirements.After analyzing the data,it was found that there were problems such as the course content not being integrated with the actual job requirements,the lack of teaching resources supporting the course,and the lack of awareness among teachers to inform students of teaching objectives;Secondly,based on the curriculum module content division path and the teaching implementation framework diagram,taking the LY Vocational Secondary School in G City as an example,this paper conducted a practical study of modular teaching,and analyzed the application effect of modular teaching in the secondary vocational school "Graphics and Image Processing" course based on student work,task list completion,and questionnaire and interview data.The research results indicate that,firstly,adopting modular teaching can effectively meet job requirements,and the module division of course content and the selection of teaching cases are more in line with job responsibilities;Secondly,designing exclusive teaching brochures for each learning unit is also beneficial for enriching teaching resources,clarifying learning objectives,and enhancing students’ learning enthusiasm;At the same time,according to the post test questionnaire and interviews,it can be seen that students’ operational ability,self-learning ability,task completion,and mastery of specialized knowledge and skills have all improved to a certain extent.
