He ability to regulate emotions is an important aspect of young children’s emotional and social development,which plays an important role in promoting their social adaptation during childhood.Good emotional regulation ability can help improve children’s learning and social development,prevent the occurrence of psychological diseases,and abnormal development of emotional regulation ability may induce children to develop psychological diseases.The emotional development of young children is not only influenced by their mother’s emotional abilities,but also by their mother’s meta emotional beliefs or family emotional expressions.Although previous studies have revealed that maternal emotional regulation has a direct impact on the emotional regulation of young children,the mechanism of action between the two is still unclear.This study introduces family emotional disclosure and maternal meta emotional beliefs as mediating variables to explore the impact of maternal emotional regulation on young children’s emotional regulation.It is divided into two sub studies:Study 1 takes mothers of 3-6 year old children as the research object,and uses a questionnaire survey to explore the impact of mother’s emotional regulation on children’s emotional regulation.The results showed that young children’s emotional regulation was significantly correlated with their mother’s emotional regulation,meta emotional beliefs,and family emotional expression;The expression of family emotions and the concept of meta emotions play a mediating role in the emotional regulation of mothers and children.Study 2 designed 6 intervention training courses with the theme of mother’s emotional regulation,intervened in mother’s emotional regulation,and verified the effectiveness of the intervention training courses.Using the experimental group control group pre and post test experimental design,60 mothers with high emotional regulation scores were selected using the Emotional Regulation Difficulty Scale,and randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group for experimental intervention.Conduct 6 intervention training activities for the experimental group,while the control group does not receive any treatment.Research has found that there is a significant difference in the emotional regulation status of mothers in the experimental group compared to those in the control group.The difficulty emotions of mothers in the experimental group are reduced,and the emotional regulation status is improved to a certain extent.Based on this,this study proposes the following suggestions: firstly,in kindergartens,it is recommended to organize theme education activities such as emotional health for young children;Popularize scientific knowledge about emotional regulation of mothers through We Chat official account and other forms in the park;Effectively leverage the positive role of home co education.Secondly,in the cultivation of young children’s emotional abilities,it is necessary to exert educational synergy and guide them to express their emotions reasonably;Pay attention to the age characteristics of young children at different age stages and provide targeted guidance;Family members and teachers should enhance positive emotional expression to promote the healthy and stable development of young children’s emotions.Thirdly,in terms of parent-child education,improve the mother’s meta emotional concept and become an "emotional teaching" type mother;Parents actively learn scientific parenting knowledge to enhance family parenting literacy.
