| With the development of society,the new era has put forward new requirements for the cultivation of talents,and the traditional history teaching mode of "emphasizing knowledge,undervaluing quality" has been difficult to adapt to the new curriculum reform concept.Teaching design is a basic skill,and its level directly affects the quality of history classroom teaching.Therefore,it is very important to explore the teaching design mode to promote the development of students’ literacy and carry out the new curriculum reform concept.The ubd model was first proposed by American scholars Grant Wiggins and Mc Taigle.This teaching design model is dominated by reverse thinking,takes learning results as the starting point of teaching design,and takes "pursuit of understanding" as the core.It attaches importance to students’ application and transfer of knowledge as well as students’ personalized development.Unit teaching,also known as unit system teaching,usually refers to a coherent teaching model that uses knowledge to guide learning around the subject.In the late 19 th century,Ovide Decroly,a Belgian educator,first proposed that "classroom teaching can be organized in the form of units".Since the 20 th century,the understanding of unit teaching has extended to teaching methods,teaching principles and teaching modes.The introduction of Compulsory Education History Curriculum Standards(2022 edition)has given new connotation to unit teaching,making it become the fulcrum to move the classroom transformation under the promotion of the new curriculum reform.At present,ubd theory emphasizes understanding first by strengthening reverse thinking,which is a new way to realize unit integration and in-depth teaching.Many scholars and teachers combine the two and carry out research in non-linguistic courses,while there are few relevant research achievements in history.Therefore,this paper aims to carry out the unit teaching design of "Towards Modern Times" according to the ubd theory of "understanding first",and explore how to combine the unit teaching design of junior high school history with the ubd theory.This paper is divided into five parts.The first is the introduction,which introduces the reason for the topic,clarifies the purpose and significance of the research,sorts out the research status at home and abroad on the basis of literature review,and explains the research ideas,methods and innovations.Secondly,it defines the related concepts of unit instructional design,introduces the theory of ubd and other theoretical bases of this research.Thirdly,the current status of junior high school history teaching design is investigated,and the deficiencies and reasons of junior high school history teaching design are obtained from the analysis of questionnaires and interviews,which provides practical basis for the research.Secondly,based on the investigation of the current situation,the author analyzes the value,design principles,design features,design ideas and matters needing attention of the introduction of ubd mode into the teaching design of history unit.Finally,taking Toward Modern Times as an example,it demonstrates the implementation process of junior high school history teaching design based on ubd theory,and puts forward key implementation strategies,hoping to provide reference for the majority of front-line teachers. |
