| The "Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022Edition)" emphasizes that the important ways for students to learn mathematics are independent exploration, cooperative communication, and hands-on practice. The new curriculum standard requires teachers to maximize the teaching method of "active learning characterized by inquiry" by changing educational teaching methods and models.Due to the abstract content of "graphics and geometry",it is difficult for students to systematically understand and master it,and most primary school students lack the ability to explore and collaborate independently. Therefore,it is difficult for students to independently establish "graphics and geometry" knowledge, making it difficult to construct efficient and orderly classroom teaching and promote the construction of their knowledge system. Therefore,in order to improve the teaching effectiveness of "Figures and Geometry",the author will focus on upper grade primary school students as the research subject, and use trial teaching method as the main teaching method. This method will be applied throughout the overall teaching of the "Figures and Geometry" chapter,in order to conduct systematic research.Firstly, the author determines the research background based on the requirements of the new curriculum standards, the important position of "graphics and geometry",the necessity of developing core competencies, and the application advantages of experimental teaching methods in "graphics and geometry" teaching;Secondly, through literature research and interview methods, the core research concepts are sorted out and the current situation is analyzed. The problems that teachers believe exist in the teaching of "graphics and geometry" and the familiarity with students’ mastery of "graphics and geometry" are evaluated. Therefore,a preparation plan is designed and a framework foundation for the entire process of teaching project research is established; Finally, based on the implementation results of the project,a questionnaire survey method was used to conduct a final analysis of the problems that students had before, during, and after the "Graphics and Geometry" class.SPSS 27.0was used to conduct a regression analysis of students’ learning attitudes, and the impact of the trial teaching method in the "Graphics and Geometry" teaching of primary school mathematics on students’ autonomy and initiative was obtained.Through research,it has been found that there are several problems with the trial teaching method in the teaching of "graphics and geometry" in primary school mathematics, such as a lack of flexibility in the use of teaching links, improper scheduling, procrastination, and teachers not daring to let students try.In response to the above issues, the author has put forward corresponding suggestions after completing practical research, namely, applying trial teaching method under multiple conditions to improve teaching flexibility;Stimulating students’ intrinsic learning motivation;Teachers should shift their role positioning in the teaching of "graphics and geometry". |
