In recent years,the media have continued to track and report heartbreaking campus events such as "sexual assault","campus bullying" and "self-harm suicide".Many film and television dramas take this as the theme,ringing the alarm bell for society to pay attention to life education.On October 26,2021,the Ministry of Education issued a document to implement the "Healthy China 2030" Plan Outline and give full play to the importance of primary and secondary school curriculum textbooks in life safety and health education,and formulated the "Guidelines for Life Safety and Health Education into Primary and Secondary Schools Curriculum".However,China’s life education is still under-depth research in teaching practice,and how to create situational teaching is a major difficulty in carrying out life education.Educational drama is a teaching method that uses drama and theater skills in school classroom teaching to let participants and spectators understand the connotation of the theme.Research shows that the teaching concept of educational drama and life education are compatible with the goal of shaping "life-oriented" teaching.In view of this,researchers tried to apply educational drama to primary school life education,and took the theme of sexual assault prevention as an example to explore the internal connection between educational drama and life education,and explore the teaching strategy of applying educational drama to primary school life education.This study focuses on the action research method,comprehensively uses the literature analysis method and the investigation and research method,and analyzes the feasibility of applying educational drama to life education on the basis of the physical cognition theory,symbolic interaction theory,humanistic learning theory and life education theory.The action research process is divided into three stages: the preparation stage,the basic situation of the research is introduced,the current situation is investigated and the problem diagnosis are carried out,and the research plan is designed accordingly;in the implementation stage,three rounds of actions are carried out according to the general plan of the research,and each round is carried out in accordance with the four steps of " Summarize the implementation effectiveness and application reflection based on the three rounds of action feedback.Through three rounds of action research,the following research conclusions are drawn:educational drama is feasible to apply to primary school life education;it improves the current situation of school life education;it has had a positive impact on students’ learning;and the teaching strategy meets the needs of primary school life education.The research suggestions for the application of educational drama to life education are: at the knowledge level,we should deeply understand educational drama and systematically learn the theory of life education;at the skill level,we should skillfully use educational drama strategies to enrich the form and connotation of life education;at the emotional level,we should respect the needs of children’s growth and strengthen the sense of responsibility to carrying out life education.
