| Objective: College students with limited physical activity can not carry out physical activity or for a long time because of objective reasons,and the lifestyle of sitting for a long time or sedentary little movement has caused serious psychological harm to them.In this study,the correlation between daily physical activity level and emotional regulation level was discussed to provide strong data support for improving their emotional level and promoting their physical health.Methods: Acti Graph w GT3X-BT triaxial accelerometer combined with Bouchard physical activity diary table was used to record the physical activity data of daily mean values for 7 days,and the daily physical activity of 44 college students were recorded,including 22 students with limited physical activity and 22 students in the control group.All subjects were distributed with Emotion Regulation Scale(ERS)and Positive and negative Emotion Scale(PANAS scale)to collect data related to their emotion regulation level.SPSS was used for statistical analysis of the collected data,in which mean ± standard deviation was used for description,mean difference was analyzed by T-test,and correlation between physical activity level and emotional regulation level was analyzed by pearson correlation analysis.Results:(1)Physical activity level: the sedentary time of the students with limb restriction was 491.31±25.67,which was significantly higher than that of the control group 299.57±29.92(p < 0.01).The MVPA of the students with limb restriction was213.99±28.09 lower than that of the control group 271.42±34.58(p > 0.05),both of which belonged to the low intensity physical activity level.The energy consumption of limb restricted students was 179.35±14.4,which was significantly lower than that of control group students 287.5±30.27(p < 0.01).The metabolic equivalent of 1.06±0.006 was significantly lower than that of the control group(1.1567±0.01)(p <0.01).(2)Emotion regulation level: the score of the emotion control level scale of the students with limb restriction was 48.41±2.56,which was significantly lower than that of the students in the control group(63.25±2.3,p < 0.01);The score of positive emotion in the positive and negative emotion scale was 25.37 ± 1.47,which was significantly lower than that in the control group(33.25±1.08,p < 0.01).The score of the students with limb restriction in the positive and negative emotion scale was23.58±2.01,which was significantly lower than that in the control group,14.62±0.52(p < 0.01).The score of the students with limb restriction in the stress assessment was 43.85±25.25,which was significantly lower than that in the control group,89.17±11.51**.There was a significant difference between the two groups(p < 0.01).The fatigue recovery score of the students with limb restriction was 45.41±15.33,which was significantly lower than that of the students in the control group(59.13 ±11.37**),and there was a significant difference between the two groups(p < 0.01).(3)Correlation between physical activity level and emotional regulation level: There was no statistical significance between sedentary time and emotional regulation level(p >0.05),MVPA,energy consumption and metabolic equivalent were significantly correlated with emotional control level,positive and negative emotions and stress assessment(p < 0.05),and there was no statistical significance between fatigue recovery.In the control group,there was no statistical significance between sedentary time and emotional regulation level(p > 0.05),MVPA,energy consumption and metabolic equivalent were significantly correlated with emotional control level,positive and negative emotions and stress assessment(p < 0.05),and there was no statistical significance between fatigue recovery.Conclusion:(1)The physical activity level of college students in the current society is low,and the physical activity level of college students with physical activity restriction is lower than that of ordinary college students.(2)The level of positive and negative emotions of students with limited physical activity is worse than that of ordinary students,and they are more likely to be troubled by psychological problems,more likely to cause anxiety,depression and other mental diseases.(3)Daily energy consumption,daily M-VPA,Meto value were positively correlated with emotion control level,positive emotion and stress assessment,and there was a positive moderating effect between them.(4)The daily energy consumption,daily M-VPA,Meto value and negative emotion were negatively correlated,and there was a negative influence between them.(5)Physical activity level was significantly correlated with positive and negative emotion level.The improvement of physical activity level can promote the improvement of positive and negative emotion level,which in turn can react with the improvement of physical activity level,forming a good cycle. |
