Research On The Current Situation Of High School Students’ Trigonometric Function Computing Ability

Good computing skills not only can help students solve problems related to numbers in their daily lives,but also can help students solve mathematical problems faster in learning maths strengthen their abilities to learn maths,and improve their math grades.Using the methods of literature research,surveying test paper,and interviewing teachers in this paper,the author investigates the current situation of high school students who are the fresh in Jining No.1 Middle School in Inner Mongolia as the main research object.In order to know how their computing ability of trigonometric function is,According to mathematical core literacy and the academic quality standards of performance level,the author come to conclusions as follows:1、 The most majority of senior high school students can reach the requirements of the first level of core discipline literacy through their basic study,that is to say,they reach the academic quality of graduating from high school.It shows that most high school students are able to master the objects of operations and put operational problems in the familiar mathematical situations.2、 Less than half of the senior one students can meet the requirements of the second level of academic core literacy through their basic study,namely,they are capable of reaching the academic quality of the college entrance examination;It shows that half of high school students can choose proper methods and design correct algorithms for mathematical problems.3、 Less than a quarter of senior one students can meet the requirements of Level 3 of their core academic literacy through their basic study,which shows that only the minoring of high school students are capable of designing algorithms to solve complex computational problems.4、 The students taught by the author are on average poor in the basic calculation,and they can not fully have a good command of the trigonometric functions.Based on the above conclusions,the author will come up with the relevant suggestions and strategies for teaching.
