A Study Of Social Work Intervenes In Community Participation Of Residents In Old Urban Communities From The Perspective Of Advantages

Urban community is the basic unit of a city and a relatively complete community of social life within a certain area.Old urban communities have always been the focus and difficulty of grassroots social governance,and have attracted more and more attention from all walks of life.Taking EJ Community in Changsha City as the object,through the investigation of the community,this paper finds out the main factors restricting the community participation of residents in this community,including the role of the government,the degree of organization,the ability of autonomous organization,etc.The advantages and potential of the community participation of residents in old communities in four aspects: culture,community assets,and localization needs.This study adopts the method of group social work,based on the theory of advantage perspective,to study the involvement of social work in the community participation of residents of EJ community,to explore the feasible path for professional social work to intervene in the community participation of residents of the old community,and to improve the self-governance and participation of residents in the old community in the city.A level goal that enriches the localized practice of social work.The social work intervention process and results in this paper show that:(1)An effective way to promote community participation of residents in old urban communities is to establish and improve the structure and functions of community autonomous organizations,mobilize and link various resources in the community,and through institutional mechanism construction Autonomous organizations are connected in tandem with other resources.(2)Under the theory of advantage perspective,fully exploiting and utilizing the advantages and resources of the old community is the key point of intervention.It is necessary to strengthen the self-organization team and capacity building by giving play to the role of community elites and local acquaintances.Utilize community organizations,physical assets,government,social work agencies and other resources to promote the continuation and development of community participation in old communities.(3)Group work has unique advantages in participating in community participation of residents in old urban communities,and has a positive effect on community self-government organization team building,capacity training,and resource linking.
