Education is the foundation of national development in the long run.The fierce economic and technological competition among countries in the world today is ultimately the competition for education and talent.Education determines the future of a country and a nation,and is the most fundamental cause of a nation.Cultivating innovative and comprehensive talents is a major event for our party and country.Schools are the main battlefield for cultivating innovative talents.With rapid iteration and increasing competition from countries around the world,improving core competencies has become the key to talent cultivation.Core literacy is the essential character and key ability that students gradually develop to meet the needs of personal lifelong development and social development during the education process of the corresponding academic stage.How to implement core competencies into school teaching is the most important core task of current teaching reform.Discipline literacy is the concretization of core competencies in a specific discipline,and each discipline has a unique value and advantage in cultivating students’core competencies.Evidence reasoning and model cognition are important components of chemistry literacy and one of the main goals of cultivating students’abilities in current high school chemistry teaching.They can help students to form scientific chemical thinking and methods.However,the implementation of core competencies is obviously not only about the selection and change of teaching content,but also guaranteed by the transformation of learning methods and teaching models.In recent years,with the rapid development of internet technology,educational information technology has promoted the reform of teaching models,and educational informatization has greatly enriched teaching resources.As a digital resource in the new era,micro courses are popular among teachers and students due to their convenience,simplicity,and strong interest.Therefore,this study conducted a micro course assisted teaching practice of"evidence-based reasoning and model cognition"literacy in the first grade of high school,aiming to explore a practical and feasible way to implement core competencies in classroom teaching.This article elaborates on the relevant research content of micro courses,evidential reasoning,and model cognition based on extensive literature review at home and abroad.In the research,micro courses,core competencies in chemistry,as well as concepts related to evidence reasoning and model cognition were defined.Under the theoretical guidance of constructivism theory,meaningful learning,and deep learning theory,empirical research was conducted.Based on the analysis of the current situation,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the core competencies of micro courses and"evidence reasoning and model cognition".The survey results indicate that schools do not attach importance to micro courses,and most teachers do not have the experience of using micro course resources for teaching.Students also have poor evidence reasoning ability,lack rational thinking analysis,insufficient evidence acquisition,difficulty in drawing conclusions,and lack understanding of the methods and steps of model construction.In order to solve the above problems,this paper combined with micro-course design principles and processes,curriculum standards analysis,take the compulsory version of human education version 1 as an example,We have designed and produced micro-courses such as"Ionic Reactions and their Exercises","REDOX Reactions and the Four Basic Reaction Types","Comparison of thermal Stability of Na2CO3 and Na HCO3","Valence-class Two-dimensional Diagram of Sodium Elements"and"Properties of Halogen Elements and Their Exercises",and carried out micro-class assisted teaching practice based on"evidential reasoning and model cognition"in experimental class.Traditional teaching in control class.Pre-test and post-test were conducted in experimental class and comparison class,and the results were collected for analysis.The results show that the test scores of the experimental class using micro-lessons are higher than those of the comparison class,and the"evidential reasoning and model cognition"literacy level of the experimental class is also significantly higher than that of the comparison class.Finally,students and teachers were randomly interviewed.The feedback of interviews showed that micro courses based on the core literacy of"evidential reasoning and model cognition"could promote the development of students’thinking ability and the improvement of their core literacy.In a word,micro course teaching can improve students’level of"evidential reasoning and model cognition".Students not only enlivened the atmosphere in class,improved their interest in learning,but also developd the quality of"evidential reasoning and model cognition".Micro course teaching can be regarded as an important way to implement the core quality in classroom teaching. |
