The focus of education in the 21 st century is constantly shifting from imparting knowledge to cultivating students’ skills.Appreciation of folk instrumental music and understanding of folk instruments are important parts of high school music appreciation classes.How to innovate classroom teaching methods,enhance students’ interest in learning,and enable them to better experience,understand,and experience folk instrumental music is the focus and difficulty of teaching for teachers in class.The author believes that experiential teaching is one of the effective ways to solve this problem.Experiential teaching can integrate the interaction between students and teachers,breaking through traditional static classroom teaching and achieving innovative dynamic classroom teaching.During the teaching process,students can not only feel a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere,but also increase their interest in learning and understanding music.This article mainly adopts the methods of literature research,case studies,and interviews to explore and analyze the combination of high school folk instrument appreciation courses and experiential teaching.In order to enhance high school students’ aesthetic ability in folk instrument appreciation and their understanding of folk instruments,a feasible plan is proposed.The full text consists of an introduction and four parts: The introduction section uses literature research methods to summarize relevant literature,and elaborates on the reason,significance,and innovation of the topic selection in this article;The first part defines the concepts of experiential teaching and high school folk instrumental music appreciation courses;The second part conducts research and analysis on the current situation and advantages of experiential teaching in high school folk instrumental music appreciation classes through surveys,questionnaires,and interviews conducted at three levels: schools,teachers,and students;The third part takes two classes,"Jinji Chushan" and "Zhonghua Liuban",as teaching practice cases to conduct practical research on the application of experiential teaching in high school folk instrumental music appreciation classes;The fourth part investigates,analyzes,and reflects on the application results of experiential teaching in high school folk instrumental music appreciation classes.This article proposes teaching strategies for the application of experiential teaching in high school folk instrument appreciation classes based on the author’s investigation of the teaching status of internship schools and personal teaching practice summary.It is hoped that there will be some reference value for the application of experiential teaching and the teaching of high school folk instrument appreciation classes.
