| Based on the abstractness,rigor and application of mathematics,the high school mathematics curriculum has proposed a new curriculum teaching reform with the goal of cultivating students’ six core competencies in mathematics."How to teach mathematics in the classroom under the new curriculum standards" has quickly become an issue of keen interest to education experts and front-line educators.Problem chain teaching is a kind of teaching method that takes problem posing,problem analysis and problem solving as the main clues,which is very much in line with the characteristics of mathematics and also meets the requirements of core literacy.Therefore,the study of problem chain teaching under the new curriculum standards is of great significance to develop mathematics teaching and improve students’ literacy.Based on the investigation and study of the current situation of problem chain teaching in high school mathematics,this paper seeks to explore the optimal process of problem chain teaching design.This paper first reviews the development of China’s basic education reform and the current needs of the new curriculum reform,details the current status of research on problem chain teaching at home and abroad,and discusses the important role of problem chain teaching for classroom teaching reform under the new curriculum.Secondly,through questionnaires,interviews and teaching case analysis,this paper finds the reasons that restrict the application of problem chain teaching in high school mathematics,including teachers’ weak relevant theoretical foundation,insufficient attention to students’ needs and insufficient classroom generation,which are not conducive to the design of problem chains;insufficient students’ interest and psychological quality,mathematical knowledge and ability reserves,which affect the implementation of problem chains;insufficient external resources for problem chain teaching and Insufficient external resources for problem chain teaching and high pressure for higher education have shackled the development of problem chains.This paper again analyzes these problems in depth and proposes optimized countermeasures for the development of problem chain teaching,including improving classroom participation and realizing home-school co-education;establishing a resource base of problem chains to realize co-construction and sharing;and teachers’ lifelong learning to improve the theory and skills of problem chains.Finally,this paper summarizes the basic process of problem chain teaching design based on theory,including clarifying core concepts and determining learning endpoints;analyzing existing knowledge to find learning starting points;designing selected problems to connect learning midpoints;analyzing problems in depth to match teaching keys;organizing problem logic according to teaching process;refining and improving problems based on teaching reflection,and giving two design cases.In summary,this paper finds the current situation of the application of problem chain teaching in high school mathematics through investigation,analyzes the reasons that restrict its application,and proposes optimized countermeasures for developing problem chain teaching,which has certain reference value for high school mathematics classroom teaching. |
