With the development of economy,educational reform is also being promoted.Chinese authorities have introduced a set of guideline to ease the burden of excessive homework and off-campus tutoring for students undergoing compulsory education which clearly states that we should make efforts to give full play to the main role of schools in teaching and education and improve the quality of after-school services.After-school service has achieved some phased result in the development process,and students’ parents and students benefit from this project.By combing,summarizing and analyzing the existing research results,this study adopts the methods of literature analysis and questionnaire survey.I sent questionnaires to students’ parents and teachers in six primary schools in F city.Through the analysis of collected data,some problems have been found in the implementation of after-school service,such as teachers’ participation in the implementation of after-school service is not high,there are not enough teachers to take part in after-school service,especially art and physical-education teacher.A great number of teacher attend after-school service five times a week,so the great work pressure of teachers.In the survey,it is found that parents’ satisfaction with after-school service is not very high,after-school service content cannot meet parents’ need,and parents’ cognition of after-school service function is biased.The main reasons for these problems are the lack of relevant policies and regulations for after-school service.Different groups have insufficient understanding of after-school service function.Teachers’ rights and interests are not protected.According to the analysis of the problems and causes of after-school service,the corresponding countermeasures are put forward under the guidance of educational theories.The government should establish a multiparty positive interaction and cooperation mechanism.The government should take comprehensive measures to establish a sustainable after-school service system.Many ways should be provided to improve teachers’ enthusiasm and relieve parents’ anxiety.We should adhere to the core quality orientation and enrich after-service content.
