In recent years,with the continuous adjustment of China’s economic structure,the employment structure has also begun to develop towards a diversified trend.There are more and more flexible employees,including temporary workers,short-term workers,and self-employed households.Flexible employment has become an important employment path,making important contributions to economic development and social progress.However,due to the characteristics of flexible employment personnel such as wide distribution,strong mobility,and poor stability,this group’s basic old-age insurance participation rate is relatively low.Whether flexible employees participate in basic old-age insurance is directly determined by their willingness to participate in it.Therefore,analyzing the influencing factors of flexible employees’ willingness to participate in basic old-age insurance and enhancing their willingness to participate in it have become the focus of research.This article mainly studies the willingness of flexible employees to participate in basic old-age insurance and its influencing factors in Beijing.After reading relevant domestic and foreign literature and introducing the basic old-age insurance policies for flexible employees in Beijing,it takes Beijing as an example to analyze the current situation of flexible employees,and selects multiple locations in three urban areas of Beijing(Haidian District,Chaoyang District,and Changping District)to issue questionnaires,A survey was conducted on the willingness of flexible employees to participate in basic old-age insurance,and interviews with representative respondents of different age groups were conducted.Through descriptive analysis of the survey data,it was learned that flexible employees in Beijing currently have low enthusiasm and willingness to participate in basic old-age insurance.This article uses the method of binary regression analysis to study and demonstrate the factors that affect the willingness of flexible employment personnel in Beijing to participate in basic old-age insurance from three levels: individual factors,family characteristics,and policy environment factors.It can be concluded that: age,health status,education level in individual factors,income status,major consumption expenditures,marital status,and the number of supporting elderly people in family characteristics,The independent variables such as policy understanding of policy environment characteristics,perceptions of government propaganda efforts,and perceptions of payment years will have varying degrees of impact on the willingness of flexible employment personnel in the sample to participate in insurance.Finally,through analyzing these influencing factors,targeted research can better enhance the willingness of flexible employees in Beijing to participate in basic old-age insurance,and hope that these suggestions can improve the enthusiasm of flexible employees in Beijing to participate in insurance,thereby promoting the harmonious development of the social insurance system in Beijing,thereby making China’s social security system more perfect.
