On May 31,2021,China further optimized its fertility policy by implementing policies and supporting measures to allow a couple to have three children. With the opening of policies,it is believed that more and more families will welcome new children, and the relationships between family members will become more complex.Among the various interpersonal relationships among family members,parent-child relationship plays a particularly important role in the process of individual growth and development. How parents improve their skills in getting along with their children, especially how to resolve conflicts between parents and children, will be a growing concern for people. One of the main areas of research on family social work is the resolution of parent-child conflict issues. The Satya family therapy and systematic family therapy models in family social work have developed relatively mature, and have achieved good interventional effects in previous practical studies. This article takes Xiaosi’s family as a case service object, using a combination of two modes to intervene in the practice of parent-child conflict in the case owner’s family. The systematic family therapy model provides a theoretical framework for self differentiation, inter generational transmission, and family projection. It analyzes the causes and further development of parent-child conflict in detail, laying a foundation for treatment ideas. The Satya family therapy model provides effective methods such as therapeutic tools, family sculpture, and consistent communication to enhance family members’ intimate relationships and alleviate parent-child conflict issues.Through the skilled application of the two family therapy methods by social workers, better practical results have been achieved, and the adaptation scenarios of the dual family therapy model, issues needing attention in the application, etc.,have enriched the practical methods of family social work in alleviating parent-child conflict.
