| History as a mirror, can know the gain and loss.In the early1990 s,Chinese competitive basketball began to emerge in international competitions.China’s men’s basketball team reached the top eight for the first time at the 1994 World Basketball Championships in Canada and again at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, creating the best record in the Olympic Games. However,China’s men’s basketball team failed to make it to the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020.The Chinese men’s basketball team has gone through highs and lows in the past six Olympic Games.Offensive tactics are the main aspect of offensive and defensive confrontation in basketball games. Therefore, the review and summary of the offensive tactics in the Olympic Games can provide reference for improving the offensive ability of Chinese men’s basketball.Based on this, this paper adopts the main research methods such as literature data method and video analysis method, and focuses on the application of offensive tactics of Chinese men’s basketball, and carries out systematic video analysis and relevant data collation on the Chinese men’s basketball competition in the previous Olympic Games from 1996 to 2016,mining the offensive tactics characteristics of Chinese men’s basketball in the previous Olympic Games, and makes longitudinal comparison to analyze the gains and losses. The main conclusions are as follows:1.In the 1996-2016 Olympic Games, the core players of Chinese men’s basketball team’s offensive tactics were mainly concentrated in the No.5 position. So on the whole, the offensive tactics of Chinese men’s basketball in the Olympic Games are "mainly within";Compared with other games, the Chinese men’s basketball team in 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games had a good combination of inside and outside, but the ability to fight was poor, the lack of strong desire to fight for the rebound, and the free throw percentage was low after strong confrontation. In 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the tactical core of Chinese men’s basketball team was more concentrated on the No.5 players, relying too much on the interior players, and the fast attack was relatively reduced.2.Chinese men’s basketball fast attack is mainly initiated by grabbing rebounds and steals, with short passes between two or three people as the main way to promote, and layups and shooting as the main way to end.In 1996 Olympic Games, the Chinese men’s basketball team emphasized the characteristics of "fast, smart and accurate",the attack rhythm was fast, and fast attack was an imp ortant scoring way.Besides the fixed receiving players, other position players had a better sense of participating in fast attack. In the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games, the Chinese men’s basketball team has a relatively prominent advantage in the interior. The team emphasizes "internal focus",the team develops tactics around the interior line, and the proportion of fast attack tactics is small.3.Screen coordination is the most commonly used offensive tactical basis for Chinese men’s basketball team in the Olympic Games, followed by surprise scoring, playing and passing.Screen coordination is easier to achieve and more fault-tolerant than other basic coordination. The most common use of offensive tactics is the area around the rectangle formed by the boundary line on both sides of the restricted area and its extension line to the center line.4.The Chinese men’s basketball team adopted the position attack in the Olympic Games, and the main formations were 1-2-2 and 1-3-1.Tactics are initiated by outside players, and the range of activity of inside players extends beyond the three-point line.Different years of the Olympic Games, the offense and the combination of players have changed. In 1996,the interior players interspersed to create shots for the outside players, and the combination of inside and outside was smooth. In 2004 and 2008,the positional attack was centered around the No.5 player, with a clear interior advantage but an over-reliance.In 2012 and 2016,the desire to attack increased but the coordination was not smooth, leading to a decline in success rates. |
