With the continuous development of modern basketball and the progress of technology and tactics,the center player,as the pillar of the interior,assumes important responsibilities on both the offensive and defensive ends,the status and role in the game is more prominent,and the development of the game of basketball is promoted more strongly.The national team women’s basketball center has also been in the international competition as the team’s "pillar" in the team which takes an important role in both offensive and defensive ends.As the best and most intuitive platform for the development of women’s basketball in the world,the Women’s Basketball World Cup has a strong research value and significance.In this19 th Women’s Basketball World Cup,the role played by the center is more obvious among the world’s strongest teams,especially the top four teams,whose offensive and defensive technical and tactical ability directly affects the overall level of the team and determines the victory or defeat of the game.In this paper,based on the in-depth analysis of the development trend of women’s basketball in the world,the offensive and defensive aspects of the two in-depth,take the literature method,video observation method,mathematical statistics and comparative analysis,etc.To study and compare the offensive and defensive technical and tactical ability of the center players in the top four teams of the 19 th Women’s Basketball World Cup,by comparing the national team women’s basketball center offensive and defensive ability with that of the main center of the top four teams By comparing the offensive and defensive abilities of the national team women’s basketball centers with those of the main centers of the top four teams,a comprehensive analysis was conducted to compare the shooting,assisting,stealing,receiving,rebounding and participating in the whole team’s offense and defense abilities of the centers of the top four teams based on age,height,weight and Ketole index,and to explore the strengths and weaknesses of the offensive and defensive abilities of the centers of the top four teams,and to draw the following conclusions: 1.The Chinese women’s basketball center has the highest height,weight and Ketole index among the top four teams,has the advantage of height and confrontation,and the smallest average age among the top four teams;2.The Chinese center uses the most number of traveling hook shots among the top four teams,has the highest shooting percentage in the restricted zone1-3,but has fewer mid-range shots outside the restricted zone and has a low shooting percentage;3.The Chinese center’s assists,opportunity creation and The number of assists,the number of opportunities created and the number of free throws made by China’s centers are all lower than those of other teams in the Final Four,with poor passing vision,single passing technique and obvious passing intent;4.China’s centers rank second among the Top Four teams in receiving the ball in the restricted area,the least number of receiving the ball in the mid-distance area of the 4-8 zone,the most number of receiving the ball by using high parts of both hands,more fixed steals and the least number of mobile steals among the Final Four teams;5.The average number of offensive rebounds by the center ranks third among the top four teams,and the least number of secondary scores;6.China’s center screen times ranked third among the top four teams,the least number of times screened,the number of low position in the top four teams,the least number of times involved in drive-passing and passing and cutting with the top four teams;7.In terms of average blocks,Han Xu has the most average blocks,Li Yueru and Pan Zhenqi have less average blocks than other centers in the top four teams,China’s centers have the lowest average steals and average fouls in the top four teams,higher number of interference shots and interference success rate,and less interference passes;8.Chinese women’s basketball center strongest in defensive rebounding;9.The Chinese women’s basketball team ranked second among the top four teams in the number of times the center used switching defense,tied with the United States for second in the number of times through,the least number of squeeze through,the most number of times with the use of shutdown cooperation among the top four teams,the least number of pincer attacks and other conclusions,with a view to providing some theoretical basis for future training of women’s basketball.
