| With the deepening of the reform of Chinese curriculum and teaching,the whole book reading and teaching design of large units have gradually become a hot issue of widespread concern.The "Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education"(2022 edition)formally incorporates the entire book reading into the curriculum content system,putting forward new requirements for the form of Chinese curriculum.At the same time,the curriculum standard organizes and presents curriculum content through learning task groups,requiring teachers to design practical,comprehensive,and situational tasks,reflecting the pursuit of large unit teaching.Large unit teaching emphasizes meeting students’ personalized development needs,triggering deep learning,and promoting the overall development of students’ core literacy in the Chinese language discipline.Adopting large unit teaching design is an inevitable requirement for implementing the new Chinese curriculum standard and deepening the reform of Chinese curriculum.Using large unit instructional design in the whole book reading can highlight the value,and using large unit instructional design in the whole book reading can achieve better results.The teaching design of the whole book reading in large units reflects the development direction of the teaching design of the whole book reading in the Chinese language discipline in the new era.Based on an in-depth analysis of the necessity and requirements of teaching design for the entire book reading unit,this study investigated the current situation of teaching design for the entire book reading unit in the senior grades of primary school Chinese by using literature research,questionnaire survey,and interview methods.Excavate the effectiveness and problems,analyze the causes of the problems,propose strategies for teaching design of the whole book reading unit for senior Chinese students in primary schools,and conduct case design.Research has found that there are currently problems in the senior grades of primary school Chinese,such as teachers’ insufficient understanding of the concept of teaching design for large units,teachers’ one-sided design of teaching objectives for whole book reading,teachers’ weak awareness of research on whole book reading resources,relatively single classroom teaching activities and tasks for whole book reading,and the urgent need to improve the teaching evaluation system for whole book reading.In response to these problems,based on the analysis of the reasons,this paper proposes strategies for the teaching design of the large unit of whole book reading for senior Chinese students in primary schools from the following aspects: selecting teaching content through multiple channels,designing teaching objectives using the KUD model,conducting teaching processes in a task driven manner,and giving full play to students’ initiative in teaching evaluation.The study also takes the book "To the Little Reader" as an example to apply the strategy of teaching design for the large reading unit of the entire book for senior Chinese students in primary schools,forming an operational practical model. |
