Research On The Accurate Resources’ Recommendation Of University Archives Based On The User Profiles

Archives of colleges and universities are important entity resource bases for college users.As the provider of college cultural service and the base of Patriotic education,archives of colleges and universities play an important role in information service and cultural education.With the rapid development of network technology and the continuous improvement of people’s living standards,the demands of teachers and students in colleges and universities for the use of archival resources gradually show a trend of diversification and individuation,and the archives of colleges and universities need to innovate archival services to meet the differentiated needs of users.Therefore,it has important practical application value to study the accurate push of university archives resources based on user profiles.This paper starts with the domestic and foreign research results of user profiles and the push of archives resources,It concludes the components of the accurate resource push system of university archives based on user profiles included resource push objects,resource push contents,resource push paths,evaluation and feedback mechanism,collection resources,talent team and infrastructures,etc.Because the archives of Xiangtan University has achieved good results in the information of archive resources,archive services and other aspects,it is selected for case analysis.Specifically,the data of Xiangtan University Archives users is obtained from the questionnaire,and the k-means clustering algorithm of SPSS software was used for the clustering analysis of the user information from six dimensions to obtain the corresponding user profile result sets: The result set of user basic information dimension profile,user situation environment dimension profile,user retrieval behavior dimension profile,user demand preference dimension profile,user retrieval ability dimension profile and evaluation feedback dimension profile of users.According to the clustering results,the collection resources and services required by different types of analyzed users.Based on time,from six dimensions information related with users of the university archives resources precision push factors,this paper putted forward based on the user’s profiles of the university archives resources precision push strategy choices: profile result sets,according to user’s basic information for teachers,providing customized services based on the differences of technical personnel,administrative personnel functions and the differences between students’ profession;According to the result set of user situational environment profile,strategies such as putting forward strategies such as vigorously developing Internet platform,attaching importance to offline service content and form,expanding various forms of self-service,adding official website service plate.According to the result set of user retrieval behavior profile,strategies such as simplifying the push content,simplifying the push form and carrying out inter-library cooperation are proposed.According to the result set of user demand preference portrait,this paper putted forward some strategies,such as perfecting the compilation of collection resources,improving the service ability of librarians and attaching importance to user preference.According to the result set of the user retrieval ability profile,strategies such as digging deeply into the data,training the user retrieval ability,strengthening the publicity,adding the introduction column.According to the result set of user evaluation feedback profile,strategies such as positive feedback,timely replying,full solution,encourage participation and other strategies.It is hoped that different types of university archives users can be provided with differentiated precise resource push strategies to meet the personalized needs of users,in order to provide reference value for university archives to carry out precise resource push service.
