Under the background of secondary school teaching reform,this paper explored the relevant problems of smartphone in the teaching of physics experiments in secondary schools.Firstly,the paper summarized and analyzed high school physics experiments,and listed all the experiments in the new textbook(2019 edition)of the high school physicist teaching version.The author finded that the new textbook pays great attention to the integration of information technology and physics experiments.So the author combined the actual situation of front-line teaching to think about the possible problems of high school physics experiment teaching in county-level middle schools in the central and western regions.And then,The paper studied the hardware functions and software functions of smart phones to support high school physics experiment teaching.Hardware functions include smart phone cameras and smart phone built-in sensors.Software functions mainly analyze APP related to middle school physics experiment teaching,including educational APP and smart phone sensor APP.As to smartphone sensor APP,this paper mainly recommended "phyphox" software.It introduces the main functions of acceleration sensors,gyroscope sensors,barometric pressure sensors,light sensors,magnetic sensors and sound sensors.After analyzing the content of high school physics experiments and the functions of smartphones supporting high school physics experiment teaching,this paper analyzed the application of smart phones in high school physics experiment teaching from four aspects: firstly,smart phone camera helps to observe physical experiment phenomena.It mainly uses mobile phone computer same screen technology,mobile phone camera "slow motion" and continuous shooting function to improve the visibility of the physics experiment process;Secondly,smart phone sensors can improve high school physics experiments.Because it can directly use sensors to measure some physical quantities that are inconvenient to measure or cannot be measured by middle school physics experiment equipment,such as directly measuring the direction and size of acceleration with acceleration sensors,measuring gas pressure with air pressure sensors,measuring light intensity with light sensors,measuring the magnitude and direction of magnetic induction intensity with magnetic sensing,etc.,which will greatly optimize traditional experiments in high school physics;Thirdly,we can use smart phones as signal sources to design innovative experiments in high school physics.Smart phones are not only a multi-functional data collector,but also a practical signal source,such as sine waves,square waves,triangle wave acoustic signals of specific frequencies,which provides strong support for the design of innovative experiments in high school physics;Last but not least,we can use smart phones and external sensors to design high school physics innovative experiments.Smart phones have limited sensors,such as many smart phones lack temperature sensors,then we must use external sensors to measure the physical quantities that smart phones cannot measure,such as the use of smart phones built-in pressure sensors and external temperature sensors to explore Charle’s law and Gai-Lusak’s law,the use of smart phone sensors and external sensors to reduce the threshold of high school digital experiments,It is more operable than traditional DIS experiments,which is conducive to promoting the innovation of high school physics experiments.In order to test the operability and effectiveness of smart phones applied to high school physics experiment teaching,the author selected the three sections of the first volume of the optional compulsory high school physicist teaching version(2019 edition)for practical teaching,namely "Simple Harmonic Motion","Experiment: Measuring Gravitational Acceleration with a Pendulum","Doppler Effect",involving mechanics and acoustics.And the teaching process uses the functions of smart phones introduced above for high school physics experiment teaching.That includs use smart phone camera to assist in observing physical experimental phenomena,and use sensors to improve traditional experiments,and use smartphones as signal sources to design innovative high school physics experiments,and use smartphones as signal sources to design innovative high school physics experiments.In the actual teaching process,the author found that the application of smart phones in high school physics experiment teaching can indeed help students understand the laws of physics and improve students’ interest in learning.In order to compare the effect of high school physics experiment teaching integrated with smart phones and traditional physics experiment teaching,the author conducted questionnaire statistics on students after using smart phones for auxiliary teaching,and found that the effects of experimental teaching integrated with smart phones on students’ interest in participating in classroom experiments,classroom learning effects,and after-class independent inquiry interests were all positive and positive.Finally,the paper analyzed and summarized the advantages and applicable principles of smart phones in middle school physics teaching.With the development of science and technology and the innovation of educational concepts,smart phones will gradually become a common teaching tool in middle school physics teaching.
