Computational thinking is a basic skill that everyone must possess today and in the future.Since Professor Zhou Yizhen explained its meaning in 2006,it has attracted great attention from scholars in the educational field.At first,it mainly involves how to cultivate and evaluate students’ computational thinking in higher education.With the promulgate of information technology curriculum standards in senior high schools in 2017,computational thinking has been listed as one of the four core qualities of information technology discipline in the curriculum standards,and computational thinking has officially entered into the vision of middle school students,attaching great importance to the development of their computational thinking ability.In 2022,the curriculum of compulsory education will be revised,information technology curriculum will be included in the national curriculum system,and computational thinking will be included in the category of core literacy of information technology curriculum.It is required to cultivate students’ computational thinking ability from primary school,so that students can better adapt to future social development.At present,how to cultivate students’ computational thinking in junior middle school information technology teaching is still in the exploratory stage,and programming teaching is considered to be the most direct and effective way to improve students’ computational thinking.This thesis studies how to cultivate students’ computational thinking in Python teaching in junior high school.This thesis takes junior high school students as the research object and aims at "constructing the cultivation strategy of computational thinking in Python teaching in junior high school",mainly using literature research,investigation research and quasi-experimental research methods.Mainly from the following five aspects:Firstly,through literature research,the relevant literature both domestically and internationally is collected and analyzed to clarify the background and significance of the research,define the concept of computational thinking,explore the relevant theories that support the cultivation of computational thinking,and provide theoretical guidance for This thesis.Next,through questionnaire surveys,the computational thinking levels of middle school students and the current situation of teachers in cultivating computational thinking in Python teaching are fully investigated from the perspectives of students and teachers.The key problems are summarized,laying the foundation for the development of subsequent cultivation strategies.Subsequently,based on relevant educational and teaching theories,combined with the research status of computational thinking both domestically and internationally,research conclusions,and the guidance requirements of the "Compulsory Education Information Technology Curriculum Standards(2022edition)," a set of strategies suitable for cultivating computational thinking in middle school Python teaching is constructed.The cultivation strategies include creating real problem situations to stimulate students’ thinking interests,experiencing the process of problem-solving to cultivate students’ computational thinking,and consolidating problem-solving methods to enhance students’ computational thinking.Then,the constructed calculation cultivation strategies are applied to middle school Python courses for quasi-experimental research.Through the analysis of data such as pre and post-tests of computational thinking,changes in grades,and student interviews,the good application effects of these strategies are verified,which can significantly improve students’ computational thinking abilities,helping them better apply computational thinking to solve complex problems.Finally,the main work of This thesis is summarized,and the conclusions of the experimental research are drawn.At the same time,the shortcomings of This thesis are pointed out,and it is expected to constantly improve and update in future research.In addition,looking into the future,Python teaching will be combined with hardware to turn the virtual into reality so that students can learn while playing and play while learning as well,thereby improving their computational thinking level unconsciously.
