Research On The Application Of The Carrier Of Implicit Ideological And Political Education In Public Security Colleges And Universities

During a symposium with teachers of ideological and political theory courses in schools,General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed the requirement of adhering to the unity of "explicit education and implicit education".This requirement has pinpointed the direction for the development of ideological and political education practice in public security colleges and universities in the new era.As a fundamental element of implicit ideological and political education,the application of implicit carriers has an undeniable impact on the overall effectiveness of nurturing talents in public security colleges and universities.Currently,though some positive results have been achieved by the use of implicit carriers in ideological and political education,many problems coming along with the practice cannot be ignored.To solve these practical problems and improve the practical effectiveness of their use,this article carries out a research into the use of implicit carriers in ideological and political education in public security colleges and universities from the following perspectives.Generally,this paper is organized in four parts.The first part is the introduction.This section mainly elaborates on the research purpose and significance,the research status of related topics at home and abroad,research methods,and innovation points of this paper.The second part is the overview of implicit ideological and political education carriers in public security colleges and universities.This part mainly discusses about the concept,forms,characteristics,functions,and theoretical support of implicit ideological and political education carriers in public security colleges and universities.Implicit ideological and political education carriers refer to the activities and material entities,other than explicit ideological and political education practices such as theoretical courses,that can covertly convey the content of ideological and political education in the process of implicit ideological and political education in public security colleges and universities,and can be used by educators to promote interaction between educators and learners.The five major forms of implicit ideological and political education carriers are curriculum carriers,cultural carriers,activity carriers,management carriers,and campus media carriers.They have the diversity of forms,distinct professionalism,strict discipline,and imbalance of content.They can promote the formation of combined forces for explicit and implicit education,help learners actively integrate,guide the shaping of police professional spirit,and assist in creating a disciplined atmosphere.The theoretical support of this research is discussed from three aspects: the relevant theoretical basis of Marxism,the theory of "unconscious" acceptance in psychology,and the theory of implicit curriculum.The third part,analysis of the current application of implicit ideological and political education carriers in public security colleges and universities.Combining the basic situation of the current application of implicit ideological and political education carriers in public security colleges and universities,this part comprehensively analyzes the achievements and existing problems and their causes.The achievements include the prominent role of educators in public security colleges and universities,high recognition of college students,and diverse forms of carriers with more police elements.However,there are problems such as the need to improve the awareness and ability of educators in using carriers,differences in the cognitive level of college students about carriers,low matching degree between carrier forms and content,and insufficient overall support for campus education environment.In practice,there are also issues such as low attention to some carriers,inadequate infusion of specific content,and insufficient effectiveness of combined carrier forces.The fourth part,optimization path of implicit ideological and political education carrier application in public security colleges and universities.Based on the presentation of problems and analysis of causes,this part proposes strategies and suggestions for the application of implicit ideological and political education carriers in public security colleges and universities from four aspects: improving the supporting mechanism for carrier application,strengthening the capacity building of educators in carrier application,optimizing the content of carriers,and improving the construction of specific carriers.It is hoped that the optimization of carrier application will enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education in public security colleges and universities.
