Unit teaching is a teaching mode that pays high attention to the integrity,logic and hierarchy of teaching,which has certain value and significance for the construction of students’ knowledge system.Therefore,this study focuses on how to use unit teaching to effectively improve students’ knowledge system,and adopts literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and statistical analysis method to carry out teaching practice research from the following aspects:(1)Through the present situation of the unit teaching survey,found that teachers generally believe that unit teaching is beneficial to build students relatively complete knowledge system,but some teachers mainly shallow theoretical understanding,single evaluation system,practice case,preparing difficult,for specific teaching practice difficulties,need to get attention and solve,also provides the research direction for this thesis.(2)Based on the results of the status quo survey,the basic mode of unit teaching is improved.First of all,focus on the analysis of the teaching background,focus on the analysis of the connection of the textbook knowledge system,and grasp the existing cognitive structure of students.Secondly,the diversified teaching evaluation system is formulated,and the combination of the expression evaluation and the thinking structure evaluation effectively improves the single evaluation system in the unit teaching status quo,promotes the diversification of the teaching evaluation dimensions,and improves the effectiveness of the teaching evaluation results.Furthermore,on this basis,the unit teaching case with the theme of "the basic structure of cells" is designed.(3)Through the practical research of teaching,it is found that unit teaching is helpful to improve students’ knowledge system.First,in terms of phenotype evaluation,the mean performance of students in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group,indicating that unit teaching can generally improve students’ academic performance.Secondly,in terms of thinking structural evaluation,students ’scores of mind mapping are significantly different before and after teaching practice,indicating that unit teaching can improve students’ ability to draw thinking mapping,and it is feasible to improve students’ knowledge system through unit teaching.Finally,through the interview between teachers and students,it is found that teachers and students have a high recognition of the improved unit teaching mode,and believe that unit teaching has a promoting role in the improvement of students’ knowledge system.The conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)Unit teaching can generally improve students ’academic performance,strengthen students’ ability to draw mind mapping,and teachers and students have a high recognition of this mode.(2)Unit teaching is conducive to the improvement of students ’knowledge system,promoting the development of students’ cognitive structure,and improving students’ ability to understand,transfer and apply knowledge.(3)Unit teaching design should pay attention to the analysis of teaching background,master the system of teaching materials and grasp the existing cognitive structure of students,which is the key to unit teaching design.To sum up,from the macro level,unit teaching can take into account the whole teaching process,promote the coherence of the teaching process,strengthen the logic of the teaching content,help students to break through subject knowledge and establish a complete knowledge system;from the micro level,unit teaching can help students to supplement and improve the connection between knowledge points and extension,better understand and master the knowledge framework,enhance students ’self-efficacy,play students’ initiative,cultivate students ’awareness of independently building knowledge system,and exercise students’ ability of logical thinking and comprehensive application.
