A Study On The Effectiveness Of Using High Cover Coordination In The Chinese Women’s Three-person Basketball Team For The 2020 Tokyo Olympics

The three-person basketball game has become an official sport in the National Games,Asian Games,and even the Olympic Games,gradually pushing the three-person basketball game to evolve and develop in a good direction.This study focuses on the effectiveness of the use of high cover coordination ofthe Chinese women’s three-person basketball team in the2020 Tokyo Olympicsto develop a deep theoretical inquiry,explore the evaluation of the effectiveness of the use of three-person basketball tactical coordination,find its own problems,in order to provide reference and help for future training and games.Therefore,this paper uses literature,video analysis,Delphi method and mathematical statistics to analyze the Chinese women’s three-person basketball team’s high cover coordination in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games,to obtain the characteristics of the Chinese team’s use of high cover coordination,to analyze the effectiveness of high cover coordination,and to summarize the strengths and weaknesses of the Chinese women’s three-person basketball team in high cover coordination.The specific conclusions are: 1.The Chinese team used high coverage 245 times in ten games.In four of the games,more than half of the games were played in high cover.In the2020 Tokyo Olympics,the Chinese team’s tactical cooperation is dominated by high cover cooperation.The Chinese team has strong inside players,so the form of no-ball players covering for ball players is a common form for the Chinese team.Due to the limitation of the rules and the special position of the high center,the high center is an important area for the Chinese team to perform high cover.3.The three-person basketball game is short,and getting an opening advantage has a strong influence on the team’s playing style and players’ mentality.Therefore,from 10:00-7:30,the Chinese team used the high cover most frequently and with the best effect.After both teams exchange the ball,it is the best time to cover together.Therefore,the Chinese team has the most frequent and most effective high cover during the12s-8s(not included)offensive period.4.However,when trailing all the time,the number of high coverages was significantly reduced.Therefore,the number of times the Chinese team used high cover was to a certain extent the success or failure of the game.5.There was no significant difference in the effectiveness of high cover between two Chinese teams,so the Chinese team’s execution of high cover exposed the problem of single offensive means.In the game against ROC,firstly,the basic situation of the players does not have the advantage,and secondly,the variation of the Chinese team in executing high cover is relatively single,so the Chinese team’s effect in executing high cover is not good in the two games against ROC.
