A Study On Media Image Construction Of College Students Soldiers

Media is a way to quickly acquire new information.As an important part of spiritual and cultural life,its existence makes people’s life more convenient and efficient.In this form of reporting,the media constructs a lot of vivid media images,from which the public can get the information they want to know.College students soldiers are an important force in our forces.With the continuous change of policy and the acceleration of military modernization,media reports on college students soldiers are becoming more and more perfect and diversified.It is of certain theoretical and social significance to study the media image of college student soldiers shaped by media.This study summarizes the characteristics of the media image presentation of college students and soldiers through the analysis of the content of the report on shaping the media image of college students and soldiers in the People’s Liberation Army Daily,and deeply analyzes the reasons that affect their image presentation and construction.It is hoped that the communication content of the media image of college students and soldiers can be systematically sorted out to strengthen and improve the shaping of the media image of college students and soldiers,On the one hand,it has played a certain role in encouraging the new generation of college student soldiers to join the military,and on the other hand,it has promoted and displayed the new image of the Chinese army in the new era,creating a "new business card" for our army’s external communication and exchange.Starting from the research background of this paper,the introduction elaborates on the research significance of this paper and related research reviews at home and abroad,and then determines the research direction of this paper.The first chapter summarizes the research design of this study,including the selection of target media,the time range of selected samples,the construction of sample categories and the reliability test,etc.Then,it makes a quantitative analysis of the reported samples of college soldiers in PLA Daily in the past 20 years from seven aspects of category construction.Chapter two: Summarize and analyze the news framework used by PLA Daily in shaping the media image of college soldiers from the high,middle and low levels.On the high-level framework,it mainly analyzes the topic and theme of the report.In the middle level frame,it mainly analyzes the narrative frame of the content of the report.At the lower level,it mainly analyzes the expression frame of the language and modifiers used in the report.Chapter three: Combined with the previously analyzed issue framework,narrative framework and expression framework,the paper summarizes and analyzes the group media image of college students soldiers presented by PLA Daily,and finds out its problems.Chapter four:analyzes the causes of the problems,and puts forward optimization suggestions for the media image construction of college students soldiers.Chapter Five: The conclusion is drawn from the above analysis."The People’s Liberation Army Daily" should not only aim at presenting the media image of college students and soldiers,but should better play the forward-looking and propaganda guiding role of the media,and better serve the modernization of national defense and the military.
