Research On The Interpretation Of Chinese Traditional Archery Culture System

China is a country with a long history and colorful culture,of which sports culture is an essential part of Chinese culture and the sum of the material and spiritual wealth created by the people of all ethnic groups in the course of long-term historical development concerning the dimension of sports.As a traditional national sport,Chinese traditional archery carries the cultural accumulation of the nation’s lifestyle,value orientation and emotional attachment,and has a long history and rich connotation.More importantly,it is considered a pearl in the traditional Chinese cultural system and one of the soils that nurture the Chinese national spirit.In the speech at the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China，General Secretary Xi Jinping mentioned that to continuously enhance the national cultural soft power and Chinese cultural influence,we must adhere to the creative transformation and innovative development of the inheritance of excellent Chinese traditional culture.This is also true for the prosperous development of sports culture and the promotion of national sports spirit.In this study,the research methods of Literature,Expert Interviews,Delphi and Logic Analysis were used to analyze the structure of the Chinese traditional archery culture system,to explore the invisible cultural styles behind the Chinese traditional archery and the cultural connotations of different levels,to restore the original humanistic spirit and civilizational values of Chinese traditional archery,and to promote the internalization of heritage about the quintessence of Chinese culture,and the following conclusions are drawn.(1)Chinese traditional archery culture belongs to a phenomenal and comprehensive cultural system,which contains four primary elements,namely,spiritual culture,institutional culture,behavioral culture,material culture;fourteen secondary elements,including ethics and morality,philosophical thought,national spirit,aesthetic interest,management system,project specifications,inheritance mode,archery and folklore,archery and recreation,archery and hero worship,physical forms,manufacturing skills,archery techniques,recording forms,and forty-four specific tertiary constituent elements.(2)“Spiritual culture”: It expresses the deep-rooted excellent national traditional culture and contains complex and profound discourse symbols and spiritual meanings.Among them,ethics and morality convey the high unity of people’s cognitive emotion and will in archery activities;philosophical thought expresses the indestructible and unshakable theoretical foundation of archery;national spirit expresses people’s strong patriotic sentiment to protect the country;aesthetic interest expresses people’s attitude and view to distinguish right from wrong,beauty from ugliness.(3)“Institutional culture”: It expresses the long-established and mutually constraining normative system in archery.Among them,management system expresses the Chinese tradition archery culture of reverence and respect for rules;program specifications express the efforts made by people to continuously draw energy to promote the development of the program;and inheritance mode expresses the enduring and everlasting characteristics of the Chinese tradition archery culture.(4)“Behavioral culture”: It expresses people’s collective consciousness and behavioral habits,and occupies an important part in the cultural system.Among them,archery and folklore express people’s aspiration and pursuit of a better life;the prevalence of archery and recreational activities is a true reflection of the prosperous development of society;archery and hero worship express people’s pursuit of bravery,self-improvement and tenacity.(5)“Material culture”:It expresses the perfect match between people’s senses and their hearts.It is the most intuitive culture that can be seen and touched.Among them,the physical forms express the historical imprint of the material form of archery;the manufacturing skill expresses people’s great wisdom of respecting nature,conforming to nature,and creating nature;the archery technique reveals the unique physical cultural memory;and the record form expresses the diversification and innovation of the circulation of Chinese tradition archery culture.
