A Study On The Influence Of Family Support On The Social Adaptation Of Children Aged 3-6 Years Old

The preschool stage is a period of formation of children’s social adaptation.Poor social adaptation in the early stage of children will bring potential crises to their subsequent development of interpersonal relationships,learning levels,career achievements and other aspects.The family,as the earliest environmental system for children to contact,has an important influence on the development of children’s social adaptation.The development of children’s social adaptation is affected by the characteristics of temperament.At the same time,the early childhood temperament is easily changed by the influence of the environment.Among the many influencing factors of children’s temperament,the family factor is a very important one.From this,it can be inferred that family support,children’s social adaptation,and children’s temperament are intrinsically linked.Based on the investigation of children’s family support level,social adaptation development,and temperament characteristics,this study further explores the specific internal connection between the three,and explores the mediating role of temperament in the impact of family support on children’s social adaptation development,in order to Help parents to adopt targeted family support strategies according to the characteristics of children’s temperament,so as to effectively promote the development of children’s social adaptation.In this study,through stratified sampling,1080 preschool children aged 3-6 were selected from 12 kindergartens with different properties in Z,K,and S cities in Henan Province.The results of the questionnaire survey showed that: 1.The overall scores of children’s family support and each dimension were at the upper middle level,the overall scores of children’s social adaptation and each dimension were at the upper middle level,and the scores of each dimension of children’s temperament were basically at the middle level.The three have significant differences in demographic variables;2.Children’s family support is significantly related to children’s social adaptation,children’s family support is significantly related to the five dimensions of children’s temperament,and the five dimensions of children’s temperament are significantly related to children’s social adaptation;3.Children’s family support can significantly predict children’s social adaptation,children’s family support can significantly predict children’s temperament,and the five dimensions of children’s temperament can significantly predict children’s social adaptation;4.The five dimensions of children’s temperament in the process of family support’s impact on social adaptation Partially mediating.The research conclusion shows that providing good family support for children and helping children to improve the external performance of temperament will help to improve the level of children’s social adaptation and development.At the same time,high-quality family support can also promote children’s social development by acting on all dimensions of temperament.adaptive development.Therefore,this study proposes educational suggestions based on three paths to promote children’s social adaptation.First,parents should establish a scientific concept of family upbringing,effectively guide children’s social adaptation and development,and effectively improve the overall level of family support by optimizing the family support structure.Then,by improving the fit between family support and children’s temperament,it can help children to improve the external performance of temperament,so as to better promote the development of children’s social adaptation.
