| With the steady implementation of the "Robotics +" initiative, the breadth and depth of robotics applications are expanding at an accelerated pace. The rapid development of the industry has put forward new requirements on the quantity and quality of skilled personnel. However, there is a gap between the talents cultivated by industrial robotics and the needs of enterprises. In order to effectively improve the talent cultivation quality of industrial robotics in secondary vocational schools, this paper carries out teaching optimization design and teaching implementation validation of the course Industrial Robot Operation and Programming in secondary vocational schools from the perspective of competition. The main study contents and findings were as follows:(1)Through educational observation, questionnaires and interviews,we have gained an in-depth understanding of the current teaching status of the course Industrial Robot Operation and Programming in secondary schools, students’ learning psychology and students’ views on the course and competition, and explored the current problems of the course in order to determine the direction of course optimization and provide a basis for course teaching optimization.(2)We analyzed the "Robotics Application" competition in the National Vocational College Skills Competition, and explored the content of the competition that can be integrated with regular teaching.Teaching methods, models and competition resources that can be transformed into regular teaching resources were found, breaking the barrier between the competition and regular teaching.(3)Based on the existing problems of the curriculum and the role of robotics competitions in optimizing the teaching reform of professional courses,we completed the design of optimizing the teaching of Industrial Robot Operation and Programming. The teaching objectives are supplemented and refined.According to the teaching objectives, the teaching contents are selected, reorganized and divided into modules with the competition projects as the carrier.Four optimization strategies are proposed: the teacher is the facilitator of students’ learning, the teaching process should be student-centered;the task-driven method is the main teaching mode, and multiple teaching methods are mixed;a competition is introduced to form a competition-based teaching mode. The teaching evaluation method is updated and integrated with the competition standards, making the course evaluation subjects more diversified and evaluation standards more standardized. And the form of "competition instead of examination" has broadened the evaluation channels.(4)The implementation of the optimized course was carried out.The teaching design and teaching process of "Palletizing and depalletizing applications" were explained accordingly, and the teaching effectiveness of the course was verified and analyzed by means of interviews and tests. The teaching implementation results show that the optimized Industrial Robot Operation and Programming course has enabled students to gain self-confidence and fall in love with learning in the learning process;it has effectively increased students’ enthusiasm for learning;it has enlivened the classroom atmosphere and greatly enhanced students’ classroom experience;students’ theoretical knowledge, practical skills and professionalism have been comprehensively cultivated, and their comprehensive ability has been significantly improved. |
