| Basketball has always been loved by college students,and it is a popular course in the university public physical education curriculum.The traditional teaching mode is most commonly used in public physical education basketball option classes,but the era of renewal,problems gradually emerge,and the innovation of teaching mode is especially important.This thesis investigates the effectiveness of TBL(Team-Based Learning,TBL)teaching mode in the public physical education basketball option class of general colleges and universities,and provides theoretical reference and practical basis.Using literature method,questionnaire survey method and teaching experiment method,80 students in basketball option class of China University of Mining and Technology 2022 were randomly selected as experimental subjects for twelve weeks,and the experimental class used TBL teaching mode and the control class used traditional teaching mode to conduct experimental data analysis and investigate the effects on students’ physical quality,learning interest,motivation,self-confidence,cooperation spirit and basketball special skills level,and verify the teaching effect of TBL teaching mode.Research results:1.TBL teaching mode had no significant effect on improving students’ physical quality in the short term.There was no significant change in physical quality between the experimental class and the control class after the experiment,and there was no significant difference between them(p>0.05).Both teaching modes did not have a significant effect on improving students’ physical quality within a short period of teaching.2.The TBL teaching mode stimulated students’ interest in learning,motivation,self-confidence and teamwork.After the experiment,there were significant differences between the experimental class and the control class in terms of learning interest,motivation,self-confidence and teamwork consciousness(p<0.05).the TBL teaching mode can easily stimulate students’ interest and motivation in class,and help each other in the learning process,which greatly enhance students’ self-confidence and teamwork consciousness.3.TBL teaching mode can improve the stability of students’ basketball skills.There were significant differences in students’ basketball skills before and after the experiment(p<0.05).Through group cooperative learning,the problems were found in time and corrected in time,which is conducive to students’ mastering the correct basketball technical movements and improving their basketball technical stability.4.TBL teaching mode had a significant effect on students’ overall performance.After the experiment,there was a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class in the comprehensive basketball performance(p<0.05).The group solved each other’s problems and answered each other’s questions,which objectively improved my mastery of knowledge,and then improved the overall basketball performance.Based on these results,the following recommendations were made:1.master the theoretical basis,implementation points,and precautions when using the TBL teaching mode.2.The prerequisite for the TBL teaching mode is grouping,and heterogeneous grouping is carried out as much as possible in the grouping process so that the overall level between the groups is similar.3.Use TBL teaching mode to teach in groups while paying attention to individual differences.4.The TBL teaching mode has a significant effect on improving students’ sense of teamwork,which is worth promoting and applying. |
