With the deepening of the new college entrance examination reform,it has become the obligatory task of education to boost high school students’ self-cognition and plan their life goals and directions.Career planning education is an important demand for students to form a correct outlook on life and career.However,high schools are faced with the shortage of career guidance teachers and the lack of career guidance curriculum construction.Teaching penetration is an effective way to implement career planning education.Biology is comprehensive and practical,which can provide a good entry point for the penetration of career planning education in biology teaching.This study intends to explore the students’ initial establishment of self-career goals on the basis of full recognition of self-potential and career orientation to enhance the motivation of high school learning.Meanwhile,it provides teaching resources and practical reference for biology teachers to carry out career planning education.This study uses literature method and investigation method to understand the current situation and demand of high school students’ career planning education,and excavates teaching resources that can be used for career planning education from high school biology textbooks,students’ living environment,and university major catalogs.According to the characteristics of high school students’ physical and mental development,the teaching penetration principles and penetration strategies are proposed.Guided by the theory of person-job matching,the theory of career interest,the theory of career development,the theory of multiple intelligences and the theory of constructivism learning,the teaching cases of career planning education in high school biology teaching are designed and the practical research is carried out.Two high school classes with no obvious difference in vocational maturity level of a middle school in Chengdu were selected as the research objects.Among them,Class11 of Senior one was the control class and taught in the conventional teaching way,and Class 13 of senior one was the experimental class.Penetrative career planning education was carried out by means of biological science history education,vocational situation experience and outdoor base visit practice.After the teaching practice,comparing the pre-and post-test data of the two classes,it is found that the vocational maturity level of the students in the control class has no obvious change before and after the experiment,while that of the students in the experimental class significantly increases(P<0.05).It is feasible and effective to infiltrate career planning education into biology teaching in senior high school.The results are as follows: First,career planning education in high school biology teaching is helpful to improve students’ self and career cognition;Secondly,career planning education is helpful to improve students’ learning initiative,goal and enthusiasm in high school biology teaching.Thirdly,it is helpful to improve students’ awareness of career planning to integrate career planning education into senior biology teaching.Fourthly,the teaching of biology in senior high school is permeated with career planning education,which is helpful to promote teachers’ active involvement in teaching reform.
