With the continuous improvement of people’s consumption level and living standards,"eating well" has become a common social demand.However,how to "eat safely" and "eat with peace of mind" is the prerequisite for food safety,which is an important issue involving personal health,the entire society,and even the country.Among them,campus food safety is an important component of social food safety,because schools are places to cultivate national successors and talent pillars.As a place that runs through the overall growth process of children,schools not only bear the responsibility of teaching and educating people,but also bear the social responsibility and obligation of ensuring the healthy development of children’s lives,Providing a healthy,safe,and hygienic growth environment for students is a top priority for schools and regulatory authorities.For a long time,both internal and regulatory departments at all levels have formulated relevant regulations and policies on campus food safety issues,continuously improving institutional policies to prevent the occurrence of campus food safety accidents and reduce the impact of the problems.However,from the current social news,the actual implementation of policies varies in different regions and the implementation efforts vary.These situations have led to occasional incidents of food safety accidents in schools.For example,in 2021,in Fengqiu County,Henan Province,"more than 30 teachers and students collectively vomited and diarrhea after meals." After the incident was exposed by the media,it sparked public opinion heat,and the news of the outsourcing and illegal use of additives by the nine small cafeterias in Haikou City has attracted widespread attention from society In 2019,a suspected food poisoning incident occurred in a kindergarten in Dongguan,causing hundreds of young children to be hospitalized,a moldy food in a school cafeteria in Zhejiang causing diarrhea among multiple students,and a fever and diarrhea incident among 209 students in a middle school in Guizhou.These events concern the hearts of every student and parent.Food safety is composed of multiple aspects,involving the cultivation of food raw materials,the channels of food procurement,and the further processing and retail of food.There are potential risks in each link,and if preventive measures are not taken in advance at each risk point,it is very easy to cause food safety accidents.Among them,food safety supervision in primary and secondary school canteens faces higher requirements.At present,there is an endless stream of research on food safety in society,and there are also studies specifically targeting school food safety.However,there is relatively little research on government regulation of food safety in primary and secondary school canteens.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct research in this area.In response to the above situation,this article mainly studies the problems in the government supervision of food safety in primary and secondary school canteens in J District of Taizhou City,and proposes relevant countermeasures to improve the government supervision ability of food safety in primary and secondary school canteens,in order to urgently solve practical regulatory problems and continuously improve the government supervision system of food safety in primary and secondary school canteens.In this regard,this article first introduces the current government supervision status of primary and secondary school canteens in J District of Taizhou City from three aspects,namely the overall overview of J District primary and secondary school canteens in Taizhou City,the effectiveness of government supervision of J District primary and secondary school canteens in Taizhou City,and the current institutional policies in government supervision of J District primary and secondary school canteens in Taizhou City.Then,based on the research background,purpose,and significance of the problem,methods such as questionnaire survey and interview were used to identify the main problems in the government supervision of the safety of primary and secondary school canteens in J District of Taizhou City,including inadequate implementation of government supervision systems,outdated supervision methods,insufficient grassroots supervision capacity,and insufficient collaboration between regulatory functional departments.The main reasons for these problems were analyzed,including the lack of sound government supervision mechanisms Insufficient emphasis on establishing a professional regulatory team,and incomplete legal system for food safety in primary and secondary school canteens.Finally,from several aspects such as strengthening government supervision of the entire process of food safety in primary and secondary school canteens,improving laws and regulations on food safety in primary and secondary schools,and establishing a special rectification joint group to standardize supervision and inspection,relevant countermeasures and suggestions were proposed to improve the government supervision capacity of food safety in primary and secondary school canteens in J District of Taizhou City. |
